Lagway crumbled under pressure last season. Maybe he will do a lot better in a new environment but he damn sure didn't elevate UF last season once teams took away the deep one on one stuff mostly. We will see at Baylor but their tough part of their Big 12 schedule isn't until the final 3 games of the season.

If I had to pick between those 2. Give me Lagway. You can't deny that. No way in hell you're picking Philo

Even someone like Sunbelt Billy Napier can win a lot of games at G6 schools where they have more talent than most of the conference schools. I am waiting for a few people to act like he wasn't the big issue he was if they go undefeated and make the playoff. I guess they would get that slot if they don't lose a game and Boise State loses another game.

I’ll concede that

But that’s like being forced to pick Muschamp or Napier
Both options suck

But luckily There are more than two options

I'd pick Muschamp because he was one Jordan Reed fumble away from being undefeated and facing bama in the bcs natty in 2012. Atleast his defenses showed up every single year he coached.

Ask Will Stein and KY about that

UK did beat this team 38-7 last yr, safe to say he walked into a better team roster than JS did.

Not defending Billy, but its kinda wild how the QBs he's had that can actually throw have played well for him
His QB rn has 11 tds / 1 int or some shite

So lets just admit Lagway and AR suck at tossing the ole pigskin and move on

It's JMU.... who cares

AR was recruited to play for Mullen not Napier.

By the end of the season, I'll move on from the Lagway vs Philo debate.

Yes but ppl said he didnt get coaching either. And he still sucks with pro coaching. So like I said, QBs who can play the position do fairly well under Billy

Most of us moved on the second he stepped off UF campus

Pro coaching? The colts just drafted him off of pure raw athletic ability. Anyone who thought he would be great immediately is horribly mistaken. He needs years of reps and development. Never had a legit veteran QB who could show him. He'll bounce around for a few years.

Well add Graham Mertz in this conversation as well. I don't like Napier's offensive philosophy.

Well Sumrall's first year is going to stained with poor QB play. He's got to correct it for next season.
