Well obviously Percy and Spikes, Rainey, Hernandez and countless others didn't respect Urban or even Charlie Strong. They all got in lots of trouble and who knows how much was swept away.
Based on your logic we are due 2 championships, great!

OMG OMG OMG we are doomed....fricking chicken littles!

We are going to beat Meatchicken....stop the dramatics like teenage girls. Michigan has ONE starter back on defense and not one starter from the secondary.

Jeez...remind me to never let most of you get inside a foxhole with me when the enemy is coming.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Come on! So we lose Scarlett for one game...we have aces in Mark Thompson...a runaway soda truck and Perine and I think we will be just fine. OL is going to punch the rines in the face and take their lunch money....steal their cheese and pinch their g/f's asses.

Whose with me? frick it Slayer....don't be a whiner, be a winner. I will be back late Saturday to collect dues. Screw a bunch of damn Yankees.

I heard that Scarlett got suspended after another player ratted him out??? If so, that does not sound good at all. Now you're talking about splitting the locker room if your teammate is dropping the dime on you, right or wrong.

I was pretty high on this team but all of my expectations have gone out the window with this.

The difference being Meyer could coach and the infractions were mostly underage drinking. Not widespread fraud. We also paid the price for it when we lost urban and the program torpedoed in 2009 and 10.

The Japanese bombed pearl harbor. You can't even get history right. Take your meds. Michigan returns a ton of guys who played. Jesus reel we're talking widespread fraud and you're acting like all is well. Mac will step down if this gets worse and local GVille radio says it will.

They have plenty of experience. They're just young. Being inexperienced doesn't matter when you have great coaches a lot the times

TJ you obviously never watch movies....the infamous "Germans bombed Pearl Harbor" was from Animal House and was a rallying speech by John Belushi after the frat house was doomed.....or you are way to too young...but I'll go with never watch movies Alex for $500.

Our team doesn't respect the coaches? Typical kneejerk reactions when something goes wrong. Our players and coaches with six defensive starters out and a third string center went to red stick last year and punched those tigahs in the face and refused to lose.

Its ok if we lose a few more starters....hell maybe we can be on level field with meatchicken then. Color me not worried. Its next man up.

I'm glad a lot of you weren't around in 1980s when we were on probation and then had our replacement coach fired midseason for bending improper NCAA rules. No TV for two years....reduced schollys and it let the girls school get players we would have signed.

We are going to be fine.

Again you're wrong. The only starters out for LSU were Davis, AA and Maye. JRob and AC81, don't respect Mac that's for sure. 10+ guys tells me the players don't respect the staff. Just like JoePa, Briles, and Freeze it starts and stops at the HC. It was that way too under Meyer and it crippled the program. Mac is the HC. He should know what his players are doing or find guys that aren't headaches. The problem is Mac hasn't shown the ability to beat more talented teams outside of LSU and he constantly gets outcoached by better HCs. The 80s was almost 3 decades ago and just because you're fine with this Ron Zookesque mess doesn't mean the rest of US are. We're UF of the last 20× years not UF that was glad to make a bowl before SOS arrived. I can understand maybe 1 or 2 players but 8+? That's a culture problem. What else would you call it? Yes it can be hushed but it's federal $ and that's a different case than DUIs or assault that can be handled internally when we're contending but we're not. Factor in the title 9 along with the Admins already under fire for shady backdoor deals and altering public records and it looks like UF is a dumpster fire. If Mac resigns we need to go all in on PJ Fleck or Willie Taggart.

Well we are basically on probation again with a 70 man roster. Congrats to Mac for bringing the 80s back.

Jesus Christ, nobody is resigning over this. It's not a good look. But I don't think it shows a widespread lack of respect for the coach. It was a scam that a ton of college kids do and they got busted. Those guys more than likely wouldn't have been suspended if it didn't get leaked to the media. Once Mac set the precedent for suspending guys over it he had to do it for the more and more players that got caught. In reality it's all a part of a single issue, it doesn't show systemic lack of respect for the coach. Relax.

We need this to go away as quickly as possible. It'd be something to resign over if we DIDNT suspend those guys and it came out later that what they did violated some NCAA rule and he knew about it and did nothing. He's handling it the best way you can when a bunch of guys let you down. The resignation talk is fricking ridiculous. Set off the ledge, let it play out and let's root for the guys who aren't suspended to beat Michigan

Amazingly they have only lost two starters and none were ol or front 7. Those are the two units plus qb that need a good game to beat Michigan. I just think depth and confidence have to be fricked at this point.

That's bullshite. This are men, who apparently don't know right from wrong. They didn't get this way when they showed up at UF. They were not raised correctly or not held responsible for their actions growing up. To blame this on the coaches at any university because they show up this way is a typical liberal, "blame anybody but me" mentality.

I'm for suspending all of them for the season and recruiting some players with character regardless of how many starts they have by their names but you can't do that because if you don't get enough 5 stars so called fans like you will complain or if they don't win enough games fans like you will want the coaches fired.

Coach recruited them. These are all his guys, who should be buying into his way.

So far, they aint buying what he is selling.

pretty clearly.

TJ wants all angels, all 5 stars, and to never lose.

I think everybody wants that but it doesn't happen. College kids are stupid and selfish and will get themselves in trouble. When you recruit big time high school football players, you run this risk. At any school. I don't understand how some fans can say they want to recruit savages on the football field and then get mad when they do shite off the field. Mac is showing complete control in the team in that he has suspended the guilty players.

You'd hope that you wouldn't have 10 guys be dumb enough and selfish enough to get caught doing this, but I don't understand blaming Mac and calling for his resignation. I'm proud of how he's handled it and I think we'll be fine under his leadership.
