Mullen has said he should know who the starter will be by the second scrimmage. And that is today. Do y’all think he will announced it?

I mean, he's been very hard to predict in general. This is probably the third time I've heard he's going to announce it, but I feel like he's going to stretch this out. That's my feeling.
He will probably announce Franks pretty soon, though, so before you guys come back and say: "SEE STRAWS, IT WAS FRANKS ALL ALONG", I think it will be Franks -- although I also think it's entirely possible that the battle continues throughout the first few games.

That article is old news...as Ive said and someone disagreed with, Mullen doesn't want a backup to know he is a backup...especially in this day and age of turnstile transfers.
He already knows who the starter is. He will probably wait til Fri afternoon to announce it or maybe Tuesday. Im over it. The cloak and dagger isn't necessary for Charleston but it is needed to keep two QBs busting arse...and lets face it. We are one snap away from another starter.

I predicted (correctly) who would eventually win the job. You and every other Franks apologist wants to make this into a game of hatred when it's simply a game of who I think is better.
It's not that Trask is nicer, it's not that he's got a better personality -- he is a better fricking Quarterback, and I've told you that for months now. It sucks. It's time to move on, man, Franks experiment should be over.
Trask crushed him in ANOTHER scrimmage with 0 plays in college as a backup QB at his high school. He drove it 98 yards down the field and threw another touchdown later on.
Instead of being happy that we probably have a decent QB, you elect to be a whiny little baby because I was right all along.
I told you, man, I know Quarterbacks.

Come on straws. One of the videos was a run play and the caption said that the previous pass was Trask making a throw to get to the goal line.
The other video was a Franks throw over the middle where there was miscommunication between the receiver and Franks. It could’ve been Franks fault, but it’s unclear what the receivers job was supposed to be. Don’t put a huge spin on two 10 second clips. There’s nothing to take away from those clips.

The receiver was literally not moving lmfao. It was a slant/hook where the player stops in the middle like four yards past the line of scrimmage and Franks threw it about two yards to the left....of the defender who was on the receiver's left.
Oh, forgot to mention the video of Mullen talking really animatedly with Franks, shaking his head, stuff like that.
The other two were labelled: Trask throws a touchdown, good throw by Trask but they couldn't get it in.
I watched almost all of those videos ten times.

There was a Twitter user (https://twitter.com/anthonysr91) who posted videos from the scrimmage on Sunday. (He has since made his account private and deleted the videos on behalf of the Florida football program).
One video was of Franks making a terrible pass, and ATL (this is not to specifically attack ATL, but it was brutal) is saying otherwise but let me give you guys some Reddit reactions:

Anyway, the guy from that account posted a video of probably about...15 - 20 seconds of Mullen basically just looking really, really exasperated. Like he was pointing his hands down the field several times, he didn't look very happy.

The receiver ran a slant and broke out toward the sideline. Think Brandon Powell 4th down play against Tennessee in 2016. The pass was two yards behind the receiver, who turned and ran in the opposite direction. Had he kept going in the same direction, it probably would’ve been a short completion. It looked worse because of the miscommunication. It was one play, and any big takeaway from it is a major over reaction.
I don’t recall the video of Mullen, but I imagine you couldn’t hear what he was yelling about or who he was yelling at.
I’m not overly defending Franks, but come on man. Don’t try to make big wide conclusions over a couple 10 second clips. There’s a reason Franks is going to start. The alternatives aren’t as good or aren’t ready.
