Calm down guys, its been one season under a new HC. We knew this team would struggle and we were all surprised to win the East. That success was also our curse as we drew a top team to play in the bowl and we didnt have a QB so the team came out flat. Imo as soon as we couldnt score on that first drive the team just said fk it.

We started 3 Fr OL, the oline will be better next yr
We didnt have a QB, we will next yr
We ll have more weapons coming in on the offense
Defense will be stout.

I do think it will take 3-4 yrs for Mac to get this team the way he wants it, but we wont have a major drop off in the meantime.
So lets take a page out of Aaron Rodgers book and just R E L A X

Excellent Post

Florida was like an inflated overvalued stock market where the weakness was ignored. We were all buying in and finally the market adjusted to where we thought it would be. When this happens the market continues strong and gradully goes up.
We will be a threat to win the SEC every year, including next season.

I think we all knew that if Grier went down or out that we would probably lose.

A lot of guys are just afraid of regressing like we did with Muschamp, but I think what we're ignoring is:

Even with the lack of weapons, the offense has been running better than the past few years. Mac can scheme, but he has got to clean up the mess that Muschamp left behind.

No offensive line depth which is critical, even at Wide Receiver we have playmakers but they seem completely unmotivated to be team players, lack of depth at running back (seriously, we had 2 true freshmen who saw singificant playing time), fricking no quarterbacks.

I mean, it's amazing we made 10 wins as opposed to not even going bowling.

We get a quarterback, team can be in any game we play in. They just gave up for the bowl game, it's not like we haven't seen them give up before. Poor dudes have no idea what it's like to finally win.

Like going 11-1 in 2012?

I think we should blame Muschamp for every crisis at UF Straw.....give it a rest already.

Hopefully the defense rights itself in 2016 and we can find a way to beat UT...the lynchpin to our season in 2016. Streaks eventually end. We do have 2 game winning streak on UGA that would be fun to continue into double digits.

Our season will likely live or die based on the Tennessee game next year. I hope Franks or Del Rio is the answer or we are in big trouble next season with all of the guys we're losing.

Not really.

Tennessee will be prohibited favorites in that game.

And Ole Miss rotates off the schedule.

Its hard to tell in January what will happen in September, we can only throw darts right now. After spring game I will state what my prediction is...btw in August I predicted an outcome of 10-2 based on our defense. Still think our defense will be very good...but maybe not top 2 or 3 in the SEC?

If our defense is as stout....no reason to think we cant have about the same results. Arkansas will not be easy in Porkville and UT & the girls school give reason to pause. But LSU, Vandy, USC, Mizzou are our four home SEC games and we have UK on the road....its not that easy. To repeat as east winners wont be easy unless we have the defense we have come to love and expect.

If our offense is worse? Then hold the phone...but with the OL probably better and additions of newcomers we can expect at least decent record. Season cant get here fast enough.

That was over 3 years ago.

Considering most of our talent were freshmen at that time, I could say...yes, undoubtedly.

He did kind of suck a big pile of dicks two years in a row with better talent and less success.

My 2 cents.

Donald Douglas is no longer the worse QB in my memory of UF history.

10 wins was great! good news better than expected.
4 losses was disappointing after starting 10-1.
I think after watching the bowl game, i think the coaching staff gave up on this season after the Fsucks game or just accepted the inevitable.
I can understand not making a change in QB after the Vandy game, the FAU game and even the FSucks game but it was obvious that Treon wasn't going to get any better but they kept doing the same thing and expected a different result, which is the definition of stupidity. If for no other reason than to show the rest of the team that you are going to try something to get better, they should have made a QB change during or after the SECCG or at least after the 1st half of the bowl game. I know we didn't have anyone to put in but Guy, but anybody would have done as good as Treon. The team quit in the bowl after the half of the bowl, because the coaches gave up on this season weeks ago. Treon's poor pass and interception just before the half was the final straw and the team quit. Harris should not have seen the field in the second half. Even if the backup was sorry, we may have loss 41-7, wait that was the score so what the fuc* difference would it have made.

For a couple of the players leaving early for the NFL, good luck, you will need it. Robinson nor Taylor have a chance at making an NFL roster. I feel bad for Taylor but it's a fact. Robinson, i couldn't care less.

Going into the spring we have the same issues as last year. O-line and QB. If this coaching staff is as good as we hope some improvement has to be shown.

I was really high on this staff until late in the year, I have some doubts now. Hopefully a good spring will turn my opinion around. Oh and kick the f-ing field goal next time. You look like fools faking every field goal or leave your offense in and go for it on 4th down.

So I am not going to R E L A X. The Florida Gators should not be embarrassed 3 games in a row for any reason. I don't like quitters and that's what i saw on the field last weekend. Coaches and players need to look in the mirror.

bullshite, we have a kicker that kicked in high school. Let him kick the ball or go for it. Don't look like fools faking every field goal.

I don't care if we go for every 4th down, but you have a better chance to pick it up with your offense. Sorry, forgot that we didn't have a QB either.

The fake punt with the DL was a wtf for me. Just a bad end to the season all the way around. I haven't been impressed with this staff at all. Especially, Callahan, Shannon and Nuss. Hopefully they can get it together.

This was my thoughts because of how we lost and what happened with the team. It seemed like we got complacent and gave up at times. We showed little to no adjustments on offense. I will say it again we had 29 yards on offense against Michigan in the second half. I'm wondering if we were ever held under 30 in a half with Muschamp. Our defense on 3rd down baffled me sometimes. Playing 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and 3. Zone defense getting ate up and not changing. This is partly due to the offense because zone defense is a way to save energy when you are tired and since our offense couldn't sustain a drive we had to do it in some cases.

I'm not giving up on this staff. I just would have liked to have seen them make some adjustments when they knew that Treon wasn't going to be the answer. I believe they accepted his mediocrity and were just playing out the string this year. This infected the team in the bowl game and they quit after the pass at the end of the half, knowing we didn't have a chance to win with Harris at QB. Guy could not have been any worse in the second half than Harris and the team would have seen that the coaches were not giving up.

Guys, it takes months to install an offense. Plays, blocking schemes, protections, shifts, hots ect. You cant just go changing everything because your backup qb cant throw 5 feet accurately. It wouldve set the entire team back.
You dont destroy the foundation because the contractor got the wrong color bricks.

Plus its not like we could say ok he cant throw. Lets run more. Our oline wasnt plowing ppl over. Teams stacked the box because Treon didnt scare anybody. Cant throw shorter routes, hell he overthrew screen passes to the outside
