Mullen is a solid hire.

Total offense the last few years with Mullen at state:
(and consider that this is at fricking MSU against LSU, Alabama, and Auburn every year...)
2017 - 32.1 PPG, #37 nationally
2016 - 30.4 PPG, #56 nationally
2015 - 34.4 PPG, #33 nationally
2014 - 36.9 PPG, #16 nationally
2013 - 27.7 PPG, #70 nationally
All of those are better than anything UF has done recently, and he did that against an SEC west schedule playing at the least talent rich school in the division.
In that same span, 2013-2016 (2017 not included yet), Mullen and MSU were tied for #37 in win percentage at 31-20 (61.5%) against the toughest division in football.
It's not an exciting hire, but he has a ton of SEC experience, and I'm optimistic that he can improve on his already decent numbers with the increase in available talent he should have at Florida.
