I am so sick of this lack of offense and obvious play calling. Appleby may not be the answer but the guy has arm. Let him throw and stop with the short passes and check down plays.

Even when they do throw the ball, he can't read a defense. Every throw is late, he misses wide open check downs. And the one beautiful throw he has (which was still late) gets dropped by Callaway.
Plus we can't even run the ball consistently because of it.

Appleby has made some throws tonight that were catchable. I just don't understand the lack of effort or focus in the offense. That's on the coaches and McElwain for not being prepared.

I don't get it. They come out flat in big games. And looking at the bench, you'd think we're getting beat by 50 instead of by a TD and a FG.

If coach Mac is going to fire Nuss then it has to be now. If not he is putting his job in Nuss hands. Mac should just take over play calling. You can't be a head coach that struggles to recruit and your side of the ball looks un coached.

I'm tired of this offense. I'm tired of 14 points being enough to beat us. I'm tired of it being this way for years.

We beat LSU on the road for the first time since 2009.
Pump the breaks, our defense was broken that game, too.
Playing in the ACC vs. the SEC is way harder on defensive players.
We were broken on defense and they still did really well.
The offense is an abomination, though, and it's time to rewrite everything -- get a quarterback.

We didn't back into the SEC CG, we clinched it, by beating one of the better teams on our schedule on their own turf.
Just making that point.

There are things he does well, but I was so happy to see him go when he left Bama. I think if Coach Mac can bring in even an above average OC and consistent QB y'all are gonna be nasty.
