He is the best QB we have and I think we need to support him while he is giving his all for the O&B.

I support whoever the coaches put on the field. They know what players give us the best chance to win a game.
We may not like the talent level of players we currently have at some positions but that is why we recruit, but when they run out on the field, we should have their backs.

Straws defending Mac till the end will always make me question him going forward. His Franks hate isn’t even about Franks. It was about his guy losing out. Mullen has done an incredible job restarting life into the program. If you can stand by a bad coach like Mac..would think Mullen would get way more support.

This is retarded.

Your anger with me isn't because of me, it's because you were wrong about Chip Kelly.

Franks is objectively bad. His good qualities are completely padded by playing poor teams, and when he faces good teams he is objectively worse than the average Quarterback.

I already did the stats vs. the decent teams we've played this year.

Total Passing Touchdowns (MSST, LSU, UGA, MIZZOU and UK:

4. He has 4 touchdowns in five games, two of them were vs. UK.

LSU, UGA and MSST? He has 2 and 3 interceptions with multiple fumbles (lost, let alone in general).

It's not because Trask didn't win, it's literally because Franks is dogshit when it matters. You guys come out of the woordworks when he has a decent game like yesterday but can't be found when he goes 9/22 for 84 yards against the 109th ranked passing defense, scrubs.

I think Franks has gotten tons of criticism from the fans. He has had good and bad games. The 3 games we lost he didn't play well, but he has played pretty good in the other games or at least well enough to win. Like with most teams the QB gets too much credit when you win and too much criticism when you lose. It goes with the position.

How many good games did he have this season?

I count three. USC, Vandy and MSST. The others were mediocre or below average.

Against those three teams, the vast majority of his passes were short, quick passes without reading the field.

This is why I say Fromm isn't that good -- when the vast majority of your passes aren't downfield, you're a handicap, not a positive. He deserves the criticism, he hasn't played well and he hasn't won a single game by himself, hasn't carried the team (ever) and has only been masked by the other units doing their job when he doesn't.

What does me being wrong about Chip have to do with thinking you are an idiot?

You were the last person on the Mac train, proving a deluded loyalty with no rational thought. It's the same loyalty you've had for Trask. The same loyalty you had to Del Rio. You seem to have a thing for mediocre players and coaches, because you back everyone who is just that. Mediocre.

Franks isn't the answer going forward, but that isn't the issue with you. It's not disliking Franks. It's clear. The issue is your guy didn't win out. Just like Mac, you will stick with him to the end. The loyalty is nice, but the outlandishness in which you attack those against "your guy" is ridiculous as well.

I may have been wrong about Chip, but that was speculation on a coach based on a meeting(which I also broke here, so wasn't even fully wrong). You have actually been wrong in a much more concerning way. You thought Mac was a great coach. My wrong was who the coach would be. Yours was what good coaching is.

See the difference? You lost all credibility in your opinion on performance and growth because of your lacking ability to accept Mac as a failure. Just as my credibility is gone for reporting inside information.

Notice no more threads from me regarding things I hear? Because I lost that credibility and accepted this. Now it's time you accept that you have zero credibility involving the program and it's state. Since you have no clue, as evident by your irrational protection of Mac.

We knew he wasnt good but at the same time he didnt give a game away. The games we lost the QB wasnt the only problem.
