Good Lord. Who chose this and what made this look like a good idea?

I mean, does someone have a spreadsheet saying this matchup generates the most revenue or something?

That's exactly why they did it.

They just don't understand that UCF vs. Florida has weight, especially being in the fricking Southeast where, you know, the vast majority of Florida fans actually live and would travel to watch.

If I was still in the States, I would definitely go watch UCF vs. Florida, but Florida - Michigan? Seen that shite too often.

The pick is being destroyed on Twitter. Do the "powers that be" know these teams are having series fatigue? Gators don't match up well against UM either. Not that I'm scared, but a blowout is even worse for TV ratings and concessions if one fan base leaves in droves.

There are so many Gator & UCF grads in Atlanta. And it's a reasonable trip from Orlando. This would be a packed bowl game with lots of hotel revenue. How does that obvious fact come second to a boring Michigan / Florida matchup. Does Michigan travel that well? So perplexing.

I've been going to bowl games for a long time now. Trust me, there will be tickets outside the gate selling for $15 before kickoff.

ETA: This matchup is THAT uninspiring.

Im ok wit it. There are a LOT of meatchicken fans in the south for the winter and a lot of transplanted meatchicken fans live in hotlanta area.

We just need to kick their asses.

Upon further reflection, I think it would have been BETTER if we had lost to Florida State! We would have gotten into a bowl in Florida (Outback, Citrus) with a more intriguing matchup.

Florida should never accept a loss to FSU.

Especially one that was this bad.

UCF would have been great but finally beating Michigan would be the icing on a 10 win season.

I’m fine with it. I’m sure a lot of players on this team want some retribution from last years game. I know I would. They’re essentially the same team.

The matchup is boring but atleast it’s a big name program. I think the team would like to get some revenge. I am excited to the see the offense . Mullen will have a month to game plan for this game and Jones will be available.

I would have have preferred to play OSU , OU or even Georgia or LSU again. A lot of the bowl matchups this year are boring.

That is why we are going to get pasted. Sure, we'll play better with a complete roster and without McElwain and Pease screwing stuff up. But Michigan was this close to playing in the CFP. Gators just aren't there yet from a talent standpoint (ask Straws how many 5 stars we have compared to UM).

Michigan is a -7.5 pt favorite per the oddsmakers.

Again, Michigan is a name and tradition. 2) we owe these bastards 3) McElwain is their WR coach.

Im sure Franks will want to get revenge and most of our roster was recruited by Mac.

BYW meat chicken allowed 62 points by tOSU….holy shite!.

Well, meat chickens best defensive player, Rashan Gary has announced he wont play in the bowl game and is leaving early for the pros.

Speaking of leaving early...LSUs CB Greedy Williams, a r/s soph is leaving early....the parade is starting.

McElwain left early too.

He’s not their WR coach anymore.

Its a chance for UF to bury the McElwain years for good.

The Citrus Bowl and the game in Arlington last year are two of the worst Gator performances I've ever seen (2014 Mizzou is in a class of its own).

You wanna know if this team is for real next year? Start with a blowout of a top 10 Michigan team.

UF's players are gonna be ready for this one.
