I would prefer bringing McCartney back in over Rumph as well. I don't mind keeping him, but I'd rather see Dan back than Rumph. We have had massive issues with DT, it's like we don't even freaking recruit the position. Doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

Skipper was the one I'm not keen on. He is good, just don't think he is a strong LB coach at all. He recruits well but we need LB's to be the forefront of the attack on defense if a 3-4. Would prefer an elite line backer coach.

Our defense this year was pretty damn good when you consider the offense was a 3 & out machine, put the defense in bad situations and the special team return game sucked.

Against the girls school our defense kicked their arse...but we gift wrapped 4 TDs on offense.

Dan has always had aggressive DCs, I dont expect that to change.

Buckley isn't coming to Florida. I also don't see us retaining Skipper.

Rumph is a good coach but was allowed to be a lazy recruiter under the last staff.

I've seen him in homes this week, hopefully that keeps up.

I'm starting to think Skipper is just being kept until Knox can join.

Knox will be the special teams coordinator. Looks young, so he should bring energy to that unit. Coaching special teams requires an energetic coach that's able to get guys to buy in to playing hard and the value of playing hard and getting them to realize you earn playing time on the field by playing hard on special teams. Pretty much the anti Greg Nord. Hopefully Knox is that kind of guy

If we get the DB coach I’m hearing about, it will be big for recruiting this cycle. I think most people would really like the hire, it may surprise some people on this site, not just the Florida fans.
