Is the Orange Bowl worth going to if we win out?

Getting married in February and I won’t be having a bachelor party. Considering a trip down to Miami and might take my dad just to say I did something.

As it stands now, we’re predicted to play Virginia.

I'm not going if we play Virgina. I have no interest in seeing that game. At all. Doesnt even need to be a marquee name but Virginia? Freaking pass.

Virginia's not a bad team this year though. They might finish in the top 25.

I wonder how many players will sit out the bowl game for BBW Bowl vs Orange Bowl seems to be quite a trend lately

Doesn't matter on if they end up in the top 25. Not spending 100's on Virginia. I don't care about the bowl as much as who we play in it since the bowls have no meaning anymore.

i would consider the orange bowl a pretty big deal. it's still under the CFP umbrella much like it was in the BCS era.

Orange bowl is a good game sure but it's lost some of the luster sadly...but Virginia man..I just can't get excited for that at all. I went to the Sugar Bowl vs Louisville but I was born in Louisville so it had a draw to me(sadly we got destroyed).

Of the possible match ups for bowls if we win out...I'd want to see in order(I know tie ins may not make it possible)
1. Oregon
2. Oklahoma/Texas
3. Penn State
4. Southern Cal
5. Wisconsin/Michigan

I dont want Florida no matter what bowl they get too to play a big 10 team would be nice to play a pac 12 or big 12 team for once Michigan or wisky or Minnesota would be terrible would love to see Florida play Oregon or oklahoma that is something to be excited about playing teams Florida never play from conferences other than the big 10 they need to just get rid of conference tie-ins and put teams in bowls fans want to see and travel too.

In the end it is all about money for the bowl games ( after the playoff teams and new years 6 bowls) so do away with conference tie-ins and let bowls invite whom ever they chose that meet the criteria and let teams accept or decline bids to bowls

Agree. I'd love to play OU or Oregon.

Though I don't know if we match up well with either. OU has a running QB which gives us head aches and Oregon has very good line play on both sides. Still. I'd rather that than freaking Virginia
