Threads getting hijacked by people to argue, bicker, snip or whatever the frick they want has made me not want to come here.

If you disagree with something or someone then I understand. But to take a topic and deviate into politics or posts on other threads or even religion is not fair to those of us not doing it.

Start a separate topic if you want but leave specific posts alone and stay on topic.

PLEASE. Thanks for reading and I hope we all feel the same way.

Damn. Off season is slow. I thought I’d get more than 1 response. Anyways, I do like coming here for a number of reasons. We have a small group of semi active posters that aren’t 21 year olds. Although some may be. A few of you seem very knowledgeable in football while others can add insight into the other sports as well.

Are we allowed to post links to articles and other sites? Some forums frown on that but I’m unsure. If it’s a pay site then I understand not posting a link or quoting the article in its entirety.

A lot of the other sites/reddit want exclusive access to certain things regarding the team so they kind of play ball.

As far as I know, mods here just don't care and I think finch even said that paywalled stuff was fine. This place is much more keen to just posting stuff than others.

I say post away.

As a P.S., if you guys want to clean up the content, start calling people out for starting things in threads when others aren't provoking anyone or saying anything. I've already said in multiple threads for a certain other poster to stop talking to me and that's all I'm going to say about it.

I intended to post more, just that it doesn't turn into a feces throwing event every single time.

It can be that hard to stay on topic. I’m not sure why this site has so few active UF fans. It seems the most liberal and relaxed site I’ve been on. Most sites you have to say good things about the sites team or gtfo. They ban or sensor you in a heartbeat. Here you can say just about anything. If you want to discuss other teams or the SEC in general there’s a board for that.

You can’t ask for much more in my opinion. I think I’ve asked this before but what other sites do you visit that isn’t full of hardcore fans that hate you if you aren’t only talking good things about the team?

I prefer this medium over Reddit/Twitter and definitely over the paywalled sites. I figure the reason we have so few people here is one: people really don't respect this site at all because the tRant which is, admittedly, almost all trolling and retardation with zero intent to talk football/sports in general. Second: We just don't have exclusive content like Twitter or Reddit, both of which have access to certain things.

If we want to grow the population of the board, all we can do is be active and post information that isn't from the Gainesville Sun/Robbie Andreu.

Right now on 24/7 Gator fans are turning on each other and Mullen hard. It's brutal on all sites currently. I still love Dan. Giving him a chance to fix the massive fuxed off season and get it rolling again. But Jesus this offseason is getting rough very quickly.

We have a group of "fans" that turn on the school, team, players at the first sign of a problem. I have a name for them, Negagators. They are a cancer to the program, but a fact of life, kinda like liberal Dems.

There is a time to grow restless as a fan. But two years into a tenure when he did insanely well year one is not it.

I get recruiting frustration. I absolutely agree we aren't recruiting well enough. We are coaching well enough and developing well. I think Mullen does know this, and hopefully he makes some changes next year.

Maybe Mullen did all he could and get fed an answer that was out of his control. Outside of sheltering him at his own damn house, I don't think there was any vacancy to handle an unsubstantiated claim.

It sucks it panned out this way but he's not the Director of Housing. If he could move, another student has to agree to the switch.

As Ive stated on a reply, winning cures everything. We need to kick those mutts asses hard. Don't think for a minute that we cant....cause we can. That will shut their pieholes and curl their tails.

I'm frustrated as hell too. Our whole 2021 commit list just fell apart. What in the sam hell happened? I still believe that Mullen is the answer but why did 3 commits decommit in 3 days? Just makes no sense.

All in all saying that, if you aren't a Gator then frick you!

Became easier with that fricking idiot IAKOW trying to cape for Steele and talk this shite about how the staff could have done something.

"I don't like my roommate" doesn't fix anything, and can't change anything expeditiously. There are hundreds of petitions to change roommates because of dumb shite.

Furthermore: If you read the other thread about Steele, you can see that the victims have a very different reaction as to how he and Hill reacted to the situation.

Methinks Mommy and Daddy figured out that their son wasn't the spotless white knight they thought he was, and now want him to come home and be closer so they can baby him.

It's 2021 it can repair itself.

We have time to fix and mend that fence. We do need to land big players though. We can't keep missing. We really need 6-8 top 100 players each class to keep up with Bama and Georgia. If we have near that each class, and a few big time ones(you know...the Harvin, Tebow, Floyd, etc types). We can take back the SEC eventually.

Can't do it without the studs though...it just doesn't happen. There is a reason Saban hires recruiters. There is a reason Saban wants five stars and goes after them hard. Same with Dabo(to a lesser extent). Same with Urban when he was here. You need those players to win titles.
