If we beat FSU, do we forego the bowl game?

Would it be fair to the players? Should we just show up for the check?

No!! you gave to reward these guys if they want to go play in a bowl game.

We have a lot of young players that can use the extra practice and bowl game exp.
Guys that should have played a lot more this yr like Richardson and Hopper.

Give Richardson the extra practice and let him play the whole bowl game

I’d leave it up to Billy

Problem is that we do not know how many of the coaches on this staff have had or will have other job offers.
And will take off before our bowl game.
The only coaches on this staff that in my opinion will get other jobs or would get offered to stay would be
Billy Gonzales
Tim Brewster
David Turner
The rest I'm sure will find work somewhere but those are the coaches I would think would get offers quickly

a bowl is more than just a reward for the season; it is also a chance to get extra playing time & more exposure for recruiting
you really cannot afford to refuse to go - besides; what would the SEC do?
if a team refuses a bowl; does the money they were supposed to make/contribute get cut from their distribution?

We could likely lose money but no I think the reps for the younger guys definitely will be good. Even with a new system, getting more football will still help for experience and growth
