Let's be real offense and Trask havent been the same since Ark game. Idk why heisman pressure maybe no clue. We weren't beating Bama and 2 other good teams to win the title.
Hell the way Bama offense is peaking and ours far from our peak. Not to mention beating 2 others lol long shot to say the least
Still got a shot at Bama and winning the sec that's the way I'll end it. Very slight shot but maybe we come out mad and Trask is back to himself lol hopefully
Still terrible fricking loss no excuse. Players coaches they both let us down
Just never saw us winning the title maybe the SEC. It's not impossible

You’re insane if you think our team is going to show up to play Bama. Their dreams were shattered last night. They wanted a playoff birth. An SEC Championship will no longer do that. Expect to see what you saw last night for next Saturday. Mullen won’t have these guys ready.
They’ll be going through the motions and get trounced on their way to the Outback Bowl.

Dude, we had over 600 yards and 34 points last night.
This falls squarely on the defense, period. You can't ask your offense to play lights out every single game and not ask your defense to just get a fricking stop and not throw cleats.

To think this D and this offense the way its dipped would actually beat 3 great teams in a row. Pipe dream man.

That literally doesn't matter if you score 34 points and go for over 600 yards.
The defense has got to do its job and throughout the entire year they have not. They gave up 24 first downs last night.

This isn't even a debate on who lost the game. All the defense had to do was not let LSU drive the ball the entire game.

Offensive line truly let Trask down last night
He had 10 sacks all season 4 last night got happy feet early and well. Let's be real beating Bama. Now idk trying to look on the bright side. They got a reason come out pissed.
An SEC title recovery as rare as it seems. Would be almost as awesome as a sec title at least it would be to me.

I obviously want to win.
It can't come if we're saying that the offense should have scored 45 so the defense can avoid scrutiny. There is one problem on this team, and it's the defense, unfortunately. We need to be realistic and demand that this be fixed, not keep making excuses for them and directing criticism at the offense for not getting more points and yards when they had a ton.

This is my first time ever criticizing the offense man lol at least in a long time
They ain't good enough to cover our D since Ark. Which we all knew they had too

Its over this year. Time to look ahead to next year.
Especially on defense, play next year's starters now. Take the beating to Bama so they see what the standard is. Show our next D coordinator what they'll be working with.

Even with Peter's Bama level grammar I get what he is saying.
Straws you are right that our offense has been carrying the weight all season.
But in this game the huge yardage was negated by the turnovers and the failure to convert in the red zone.
One turnover by the defense or one conversion in the red zone by the offense and we aren't here playing the blame game.
While the entire season has been the offense covering up the weaknesses of our defense, this particular loss was a complete team effort.
