I just got sucked into a Twitter debate and I'm more upset about being sucked in than I am arguing the topic.

I tried keeping kid gloves and spur some excitement for Week 1 and all they do is show you your team's resume going back X number of years. I want to send that team into a tailspin so fast that their season ends before it even begins.

I always ask them what year did they graduate when dealing with a-hole Canes fans.

Not sure if it was Bill Murray who said it but, "You will sometimes win an argument with an intelligent person. You will never win an argument with a stupid person."

I want blood August 31st.

Their big new hashtag deal is #TNM which I believe stands for The New Miami. They are heavy into acquiring new transfers and have the fan base jacked up thinking that this year will be different and they will really be back.

They though the same thing last year after a 10-3 record in 2017 and being ranked 8th in the pre-season poll for 2018, but LSU brought them back to reality.

But make no mistake, the local boy Diaz knows the scene and has the natives buzzing, so they will come to Orlando full of piss and vinegar and we will need to be ready. I think we will be.

Why the doubt? We have an offense that is a year better and knows the playbook. A stout core of defensive guys returning with a wealth of experience. And, a coach who now has 10 years of HC experience.

I don't know much about Diaz so maybe I'm overly confident but I hope it finishes 56-10.

I know that Diaz defenses have had their teeth knocked out by anyone with a running game.

I have very little worry about beating Miami. We are better. Our coach is better. His staff is better. We aren't losing to Miami

Miami Staff Experience

HC: Zero.
OC/QB: 2 years of D1 OC, 4 as HC but he was terrible.
DC: Louisiana Tech's DC for the past 4 years, gonna go with zero P5.

Florida Staff Experience (All D1 or NFL)

HC: 10 years.
OC/WR: 6 years.
DC: 9 years.

25 - 2, I like those odds.

People just don't realize how goddamn hard it is to learn a job like HC of a major football team on the run.

Dan Mullen is going to catch a felony with the beatdown coming in August. They have two awful QBs, a transfer QB who is likely to start and almost no experience at all on any side of the ball.

They are so bad at football that they can't schedule their own Spring Game correctly.

They have a schedule conflict at Hard Rock stadium with a Rolling Stones concert.
They should have the game at the same time so the players would know what it's like to play in front of a sold out stadium.
