quote:

"We're going to take an inside-out approach here," Napier said last week on an interview with 1010XL radio in Jacksonville, Fla. "We do a ton of research about player production, about the make-up of the roster. When the University of Florida won national championships, when they won SEC championships, anywhere from 65 to 80% of the roster was made up of players within 4.5 hours of Gainesville, Fla."

i haven't been paying attention until it was posted on 247. it's a good sign i think. i think the '24 class will tell just how good he is at building relationships with the local high schools.

There is enough talent in Florida to compete at a Championship level if you can land it.
Relationships with the High School coaches is a key to success. Mullen sucked at this.

Problem is the very highest ranked FL recruits are mostly leaving the state for big NIL. Miami paying big NIL supposedly is about the only school in FL landing any of them. Don't get me wrong these 2 recent recruits are just below the demanding to really get paid recruit ranking and many end up better than the very top ones but it is an issue with this NIL stuff if you want to win SEC or national championships.

Let's be fair tho. This much newer to Napier.

Mario is definitely a step or 2 ahead with exp and getting boosters to pay up.

Give Napier some time guys i was pissed about Rashada too but it's been 6 months. Me personally i feel like he's working his azz off on the NLI thing

I read we offered a bigger amount then miami. Cash wise. Miami prob got bitcoin, porn stars on deck for players, access to the best clubs on rappers b day parties.

It ain't just cars and nice living situations in miami we learned they were doing this in Shapiro days

I think so far we are just selling mostly future NIL to recruits and our collective thing. We never offered Rashada an actual NIL deal like that just for signing. We would have been crazy if we did and Miami's real guaranteed if you are in school offer was a lot less than advertised supposedly though still way too much.
