They are getting better, but we've also played some pretty bad teams the past two weeks.

Overall great play, but killer instinct needs be instilled. Too many blown opportunities in the 4th quarter against Aggy and in the second half against SCar to really stick the dagger in for the kill. They did eventually, but could have done it sooner.

Late game red zone offense could use some improvement.

Special teams...wtf.

But the defense has made a turn around. Those guys were flying around all game. Only that stupid arse fake punt for a TD was given up.

We are going to be limited on offense with AR in the throwing game. I said It in another thread but anything 3rd and medium or longer, when we throw the ball, it’s low % we convert. We left multiple TD’s on the field in 2nd half because 15 can’t make the easy throws with consistency. At this point of the year, it’s good to see where we could improve, defensively, we have.

If they keep playing this way they’ll have a shot to win out but fsu will be a tall test. The only team on both offense and defense on our schedule who has been statistically better than fsu is Georgia.

If FSU is 6pt favorites or less to beat Florida I’m putting 2.5k on us. Hammering both the points and money line.

Seems like instead of gradual improvement over the season we’ve seen significant growth the last couple of weeks. It’s almost like a different team.

I wonder what changed?

No doubt but a shutout is a shutout. Especially with this group who many were saying is our worst defense ever.

I think the so to speak Light switch is turned on for this team.

Has the competition been weaker possibly but no matter the gators have pretty much blown out 2 SEC teams in 4T8 & USCe. So as much as I complained about the defense the last 6 weeks they have played much better these last 2 games and let's hope it continues is there still giving 3rd and longs a few yes but overall this defense is night and day compared to 3 weeks ago.

Would like to see that killer instinct to put a team away early when they have the chance but over all a much different team then 3 weeks ago

Definitely the gators can finish 8&4 having these next 2 on the road is beneficial too us as well because it seems AR has played very well on true road games kets hope that continues and we take care of Vandy Early so Kitna can see some significant playing time and get ready for the rivalry with the team up North!!!
Go Gators!!!!!

I think Kitna can play. I know ppl love AR and don’t wanna hear it but if AR had Kitna’s accuracy/anticipation he’d be in the Heisman talks.

Defense with the young guys getting more reps is fkn swarming, seeing that makes me very happy n pants. :)

USF and UK were weaker comp and we sucked those games. We’re playing a lot better. Kudos to AR as well, no int in 4 straight games.

Think it’s a combination of a little bit of everything. I do think we’re getting better, and I think guys are buying in; it also seems like Napier may have cut some negative energy from the locker room. Yes, we’ve played some poor teams, but we looked pretty good against those poor teams. I feel like we beat them the way we should have.

If we can take care of Vandy, I think there’s a good boost of confidence and some excitement around the FSU game. Anything can happen in a rivalry game. Ending the regular season on a 4 game win streak and crushing the girls schools’ dreams would be a heck of a way to end year 1 under BN, especially given the rollercoaster ride it’s been.

Everything from the Georgia game on is building towards the 7-4 vs. 8-3 matchup against FSU.

8-4 in year 1, and beating FSU in their "up" year would be huge for perception. Ending with 4 straight wins, including a road win over a ranked rival, is huge for the growth of the program. FSU going 8-4 in the ACC in their up year would also create some major question marks going into year 4 of the Norvell era, too.

Unless South Carolina pulls really big upset against Tennessee or Clemson Utah will be the only team we beat this season that will have a winning regular season record if we don't beat FSU.

Honestly our best case Bowl scenario would be to play Oklahoma in the Liberty Bowl.

Not sure if florida has ever played in that game
The older players opt out we go to Memphis with the young guys that getting all the reps at the extra practices and see what they can do with Kitna at QB.

When you get curb stomped by Fricking Vanderbilt.

You should trash talk about when we win any game.

Fsu has 80 plays of this year of 20 yards or more it may be 90 after tomorrow.

AR Should worry about getting better and being a better leader instead of worrying about beating any body.

When you lose too Vandy and all you get is a my bad from players that is not a good sign. If I was a player on any sec team and lost to vandy I would be embarrassed and passed.

This team just shrugs a shoulder and says my bad
