What are your thoughts on how we perform? I know there was a pretty big thread on the Rant yesterday, but I figured a thread between Gators would be good.
I'll actually be there this weekend. I'm hoping we see something similar to the 2011 year. It was a night game as well, and Trey Burton had his 6 TD night and then continued to fizzle out.
I think we can duplicate it again. Hopefully with 0-minimal injuries. I'm expecting Jones and Taylor to have a few TDs a piece with Driskel having at least one long touchdown pass that will wake the monster we call the Swamp. It should be another confidence booster before the big game next week in T-Town.

Burton scored 6 TDs his freshman year in 2010, fwiw
2011 wasn't bad though, as we beat UK 48-10.....so I'll take that
Eta: I'm hoping for 3 things mainly.
1- we win
2- zero injuries
3- our fans actually show up and support this team from start to finish

If we don't win by 24 I will be surprised. I think we are just that much better than UKy.

I think we'll win, but we should still take it seriously. Kentucky isn't a terrible team (like EMU) but in today's game no one should be taken lightly.

They have 2 of the better pass rushers we will face all year. Its gonna be a good test to see were our oline stands.

BTW in 2011 we lost Brantley early in the season against Bama at home to an injury and our offense went down the crapper...Jeff got hurt also in that game...but both returned later in the season.
Brissett & Driskel were no where ready for SEC warfare and we had no real run game....depending on 2 scatbacks. Gillislee & M. Brown were both injured most of the year.
UK is improved...just from an attitude standpoint alone...and I predict will be a tough foe unless we can get a 2 score lead early...make them throw more than they want. UK doesn't have formidable run game to start with and our defense will be in the qbs face a lot. Should be a 37-10 type game but if we get that early two score lead....things could get ugly fast for ole blue.

Looks like 40% chance of rain tomorrow. It's unreal how the rain is down there now that it's football season.
