Only two SEC QBs are in the top total TDs Thrown. Tua and Franks both have 12 TDs thrown.
Not bad for a braindead QB.
Here fishy fishy nice sharp hook for you

Charleston Southern and Colorado State are great teams to play to pad stats.
When he has a 4 int game, you’ll change your tune.

They aren’t all that different. Texas A&M is the best team that either team has played, but Kentucky proved they are no cupcake this year. The other 3 opponents for both teams are garbage.
Tua is the best player in America don’t get me wrong though. And Franks is not nearly as good as he is. I do like what Franks has done this year. A lot. Future top 10 pick.

Worst of all, he's already had that game.
This isn't even counting the two tips that were thrown too high and hard that it could have ended up an interception.
If Kentucky made those plays, we get blown the frick out at home and we have a new Quarterback. Anyone who is counting this egregiously padded stat is going to be very upset when he actually does have to win the game with his arm.
Take into account: Of the 12 touchdowns, 5 were against CHSU.
1 out of 2 in CSU were in garbage time.
1 out of his 2 in KY were in garbage time when they played prevent and let us move down the field since they were up by two.
1 out of his 3 against Tennessee was actually good. The other two were pretty much garbage time because Tennessee's offense had pretty much been raided to death.
So I mean, in FBS in real time, when the other team is actually playing he has 5. There is a ton of context that's being left out.
We're also 85th in completions and 106th in completion percentage, 92nd in passing offense.
Those numbers are almost exactly like they were last year -- the only difference is the offensive line is great, the defense is scoring tons of turnovers and we're masking an otherwise awful Quarterback who is only useful when the entire team is doing well, and requires this stimulus to do well.
You'll notice both of his interceptions and all three of his fumbles were at times when we needed him.

Notice all of his TDs where when we needed them too
Or does his doing very well in the red zone mean nothing? Should call Dan Quinn. Ask him how it feels to be able to not score down there.
Kid gets no credit from Trask lovers. That two star QB is a World beater. Mullen knows shite about QBs after all.
Straws..knows Mac is an elite coach, and Trask is an elite QB. His high school coach couldn't see it. Nor can Mullen or Brian Johnson.
Mac, Nuss and Straws see Trask and his hidden talent.
Mullen, Johnson, most other FBS coaches who didn't recruit him, his high school coach...all see him as a two star back up to a raw four star.
I'll take the latter and keep to the idea the best QB for now and the future is on the field.

Why can you guys never actually discuss the statistics? Yes, we're great in the Red Zone, it's nice that our defense and special teams can put us on that side of the field so often.
I have never said Trask is elite, I said he reads the field better than Franks. I have also said dozens of times that I don't mind if it was Emory. I just want a playmaker. Someone who brings an actual dynamic to the offense. Franks does not do that.
Now, stop talking about the past and talk about the statistics.
This stupid shite where you bring up McElwain like you weren't blowing Chip Kelly has to stop, though, that dude doesn't even have a win.

Trask’s high school coach is the one that sold him to Florida.

You blew Frost.
He doesn't have a win either.

In fact, his high school coach even said that he was just not a fit for their offense but was good. Spoke very highly of him.
But, Mullen's picked his horse and is determined to run him into the ground. Hopefully our defense, offensive line, running backs, receivers and special teams can make the game easy enough for him to manage.

The schedule difference is not that big . Tua is better but he also plays on a team loaded with talent .
