For those that aren’t aware, our losses totaled to only 12 points....Posted by finchmeister08

If we only had a defense that could’ve produced more stops, we could be talking CFP.
12.
Effing.
Points.
And aTm thinks they deserve a playoff appearance. They loss to Bama by 28 points.

This was an all time great offense legitimately wasted because of a trash defense.

The complete reverse of the Muschamp years.

One of the benefits of the Mullen experience is:
We don't get blown out. It happened a few times the last years, but I know that once Mullen gets his guys (next year) no matter how good they are, they aren't going to get completely blitzkrieged.
For instance:
We beat Georgia by 16, Alabama beat them by 17, LSU crushed them last year 37 - 10 (33 - 3 going into the fourth).
We might drop a weird game here and there (LSU this year), but we know that no one can run us off of the field like that.

We actually had cucks on this board that thought Alabama was gonna beat us 63-10 after the LSU game.

Well, to be fair, they were well on their way to routing us at halftime.

It was 35-17 at half. Did anyone think UF would do what they did in the 2nd half?
I'm legitimately shocked and impressed at the fight UF showed.

Good thing they have to play two halves.
Gonna be real interesting should Trask return.

And to be fair there was UF fans that said we wouldn’t win another game after the Texas A&M game. I don’t know how it happened but we have the most weak minded fanbase in the SEC.

Yes, we do have weak fans.
But we have several dumbasses in our fanbase (the whole Trask sucks we want Emory Twitter crowd can go frick themselves).
I called the damn 8-2 record this year, which I'm not happy about now

If Trask returns, you can say goodbye Emory I feel. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m ready to see a true Mullen offense. Not this pass heavy/nickel-dime because we can’t run the ball offense. There needs to be light lit of the OL and OL coach to get these guys where they need to be to be championship level.

We have a QB that is being discussed as heisman material and you're really saying you look forward to him leaving? K.

Emory ain't it, either. He's pretty skinny even though he's been here for quite a few years. Richardson and Carlos Del Rio are both bigger than he is.
If Trask wants back, he should come back. I think he really wants that statue bad, and some part of me thinks that he really, really loves Florida.
I'm perfectly fine with Emory leaving and Richardson taking over the change up QB next year, far more built for Mullen's offense regarding size. Mullen still doesn't seem to really trust Emory to throw the ball, and as a Junior that's a huge red flag.

Idk... Emory's usage this year by Mullen was pretty dumb in all fairness.
It made no sense, really the last 2 years.
Its almost like Mullen was playing Emory enough so he wouldn't transfer.
IDK how good of a passer Emory is until he has a full offseason to work.
In any case, if Trask wants to come back, then yes we should welcome him back.

He never really let Emory run the offense, and again, I say this with a lot of hesitation:
It's strange that Mullen didn't trust him to do it, even for a single game. His passing is also alright, it's acceptable, maybe even pretty good, but I also haven't really seen a lot to make me think:
"frick, Trask is really good, but that Emory guy is something else."
And I do see it with Anthony Richardson from an athletic standpoint. Guy is a freak athlete with a huge arm and very high football IQ. Emory Jones is kind of a scat-back who can also decently throw it.
Regardless, it'll be an interesting off-season.

If Trask leaves our strength will be the run game next year. Emory with Bowman is going to be insanely hard to deal with. People forget how good this kid is. He was called a generational type back out of high school. Then add Wright and Lingard...man that's a loaded back field.

He ran it vs Auburn last year and did pretty well.

In this day and age the passing game is paramount. Its hard to predict 2021....but we do have 2 cupcakes scheduled to break in a new starting QB is needed.
Again...we dont know yet what Trask will do...Kiper doesnt have him in his top five and NFL isnt college...its strictly business,,,first rounders are worth gold and a lot are hit and miss....no matter the position. Why the hell Justin Fields is projected first round is a mystery...he had 2 games (out of six) where he went total color blind.
Emory is a good kid and has helped us with his run skills...my problem with him passing is the total lack of touch and arch on the ball. Throwing bullets all the time isnt good.
Richardson I havent seen enough to know his skill level....but he does have size. Taller QBs are usually a good thing....except in the case of Franks.....and watching him at Arkie...he takes too many sacks and is prone to fumble...but he is a good runner and can throw bombs sometimes with success.
Our OL should be good next year...I just hope Reese gets his act together. In the Bama game he was woeful on a run play and its caused Toney to only gain a yard. I saw Mullen talking to him when we punted and Im sure he was unhappy.
Gouriage should be our LOT, Ethan White at one of the OG positions, Tarquin at ROT? Plus we have a lot of r/s frosh and sophs that should be ready. I edited this to include two OL , Kingsley Eguakun and probably our next center...Josh Braun. Tarquin will be a r/s soph and thats three years in the system....but why couldnt he beat out Delance? Although truthfully Delance did play much better this year compared to mediocre 2019. Oh..and I was wrong about Reese...he gone..he is actually a r/s sr. and hopefully leaves.

That's why I think Trask is going to stay another year.
I think he was #5 a week ago, might be #7 now, but of course people are idiotic to think he's that high on the QB table. He'll be the #1 QB next year, and the difference between high first round and potentially a late 2nd/3rd round is significantly different regarding the cashflow.
Come back another year, be set for life after it. I also believe he has intentions to get his Masters and his girlfriend is also on the Softball team (and may be doing the exact same thing next year). Whatever he does, as long as he's happy with his decision I will support it.
