Football Ticket Sales slow this season?

I've been a season ticket holder for nearly a decade and I have gotten emails from the ticket office just about every season for awhile now.
I don't recall so many promotions to sell tickets as I've seen the past few weeks.
The Campbell game in particular they look like they're begging people to take tickets from them

Florida better hope that Sumrall is all of what they say he is and more. if he screws the pooch, fans may be finally done with Florida football.

Are the Fighting Camels better than the Long Island Sharks? Never heard of these teams before they popped up on our schedule.

I've heard of LIU before though, living in the northeast when I was younger. I had to Google Capmbell to find out where it was located (NC).

Same. I was very mad at our handling of the Napier situation but so far he has made good coaching hires for cords and such. So I have calmed down on my anger a ton. I know this year will be brutal because of our schedule so expecting a bowl game is pretty much it..do not expect playoffs or a conference title or some crazy thing. I know it will take some time to fix Napier's shite.

But it will take time. Some of the fanbase is either mad or have given up it seems. UF Football has to win them over now. Not many are like us, huge Football fans. The casual fan makes up 90 percent of all fanbases in all sports of every team.

After this past off-season, he did not renew his tickets. He said he'll go to a game or two each year moving forward, but that's about it.
Another guy is from a multi-generation family Gator boosters and said that they're all done with the program now.

At one time my family had 14 season tickets, deaths, life happened and we have eventually dropped all of them. Like the person you discussed, I try to attend a couple games a year and watch the rest from my recliner. I don't enjoy the stadium atmosphere or the seating like I did when I was younger. This year I am planning on attending the Mizzou and UK games on the road and at least one game at home. Hoping for a great season, Go Gators!

Yep I am not that motivated anymore to attend games. I guess getting older now is part of it but the team struggling in recent years has an affect also. I do think Sumrall may be the last hope for the Gators to have dominant seasons again with the SEC additions and NIL etc. We don't have super motivated billionaires into football now like some other teams. I think most of our super rich alumni are more on the nerdy side and don't care much about football.

If I didn't live in Gainesville, I would probably not bother with season tickets, to be honest.
An overnight trip up here has to be expensive -- is it truly worth it?
Even coming in for a day trip, the traffic is fricking terrible after games... frick that noise.

My daughter graduated in 2022. And I haven't been back to a game since. I've attended 3 or 4 games every year since 1999. For numerous reason, I've stopped. The traffic from where I drive from is insane. Napier's ineptitude, was the final straw for me. It's not worth the hassle

I broke down and bought two tickets for the season opener. I'm a glutten for punishment I guess. Uncomfortable steel seats, knees in my back, getting up and down for the guys getting drunk on stadium beer and then making multiple trips to the men's room.
WHY?
46 consecutive years of attending at least one Gator game at home a season won out in the end.
