I figured the pressure would get to franks. Not the pressure of the miami defense, the pressure of the moment.
The kid was nervous as frick all night you could tell. frick ups in hand offs, tosses, overthrows. Just jittery as hell all night.
But 2018 franks loses this game in a ball of fire. 2019 franks scored late in the 4th quarter.
I'll take it. But he needs to grow the frick up.
ALSO frick MIAMI

At this point, he is what he is. He'll make some brilliant throws and at other times make boneheaded decisions. Was hoping he turned the corner at the end of last year, but he remains a project. Hopefully, he can at least cut the turnovers down but he is a limitation.

My biggest problem with Franks is the way he directs his emotions he has to get in his teammates face and challenge them instead of pandering to the fanbase good or bad and running over there in the middle of the game to talk.
He just needs worry about that stuff after the game during the game he needs to have the offense around him talking about what they are doing on the field whether its receivers running wrong routes running backs not staying in there blocking lanes tight ends whiffing on blocks( which Krull did twice) making sure they line up correctly so you don't have to burn timeouts.
That is what leaders do!!!!!

I have one answer: Get a competent QB who doesn't look for problems. Maybe who is all work until he wins?
Why is Mullen not playing the other QBs ? Can you please call him up and tell him who needs to be the starter. Maybe you could help him with his play calling too.

I know you retards think this is hilarious and poignant but I feel like an egotistical coach who is afraid to bench someone because of their fragile mentality is a really bad sign for the rest of the season.
I don't know what Mullen sees in Franks -- because he clearly isn't that much of a leader, either.
Dude's gone directly back to where he was and regressed.
Slayer: Sure he hit a great pass in the fourth quarter, but it's like he has one good drive and everyone forgets just how inept he was.
How many outlet passes were off-target? I can think of three really bad ones. The pass on third and long where he didn't even hit his WR, the missed pass to Perine, the high pass that almost got Perine's back broken.
Those were all at or behind the line of scrimmage. He has to fix that.
