I think Tennessee and FSU are teams we could pull an uspet on possibly but on that Tennessee offense Milton should have way better production than Mertz. I think he will be a slight downgrade from Hooker but still put up some nice numbers.

He might be better than Mertz. Remains to be seen. Mertz might end up being total garbage.
From what I've seen of Milton, he is not good at all.

I mean, I got downvoted for being optimistic. Can't make anyone happy in this thread.

If we beat Utah like I expect, and mop the floor with McNeese, I don't see Tenny coming to the Swamp and winning. The Swamp should be 1990s crazy.
If the defense can step up and rattle Milton...I could see that game being a W. Reminds me of when we beat a top 5 LSU team in 2018 but the crowd was absolutely electric that day.

He sucked at Michigan too
He is a step down from Hooker for sure and we almost beat them last year. Defense let us down. Although he only completed 22-44, Richardson played a good game. One of a few.

@Utah - W

Georgia (N) - L

Florida St. - L
This team plays to their composite talent level, barring injuries. Much improved, more aggressive defense and efficient offense. It’s a transition year where most are doubting, but this year puts Napier and Florida on the map.

I like the wins that you list.
I don't believe we lose to the Semenholes again.
IMO, We are on the road back, heading in the right direction. We need a good season this year to keep recruiting going on a positive trajectory.

Regular season predictions
5-7: A pretty negative take and you probably feel there is something about this team that doesn't bode well for this season as that would only be 2 wins over the 3 very likely wins against the 2 small schools and Vandy.
6-6/7-5: A likely scenario and kind of in line with what Vegas thinks.
8-4: Starting to approach sunshine pumper territory but a record that is possible if most of the breaks go your way during the season.
9-3 to 12-0: 100% sunshine pumper territory and if you put your love for the team to the side and still really believe this is a team that might go 9-3 or better it might be time to have a mental health evaluation.

Don't be stealing my prediction. 12-0
I will never expect or predict a loss. I know shite happens but I will never admit defeat before the game is played.

Dont get carried away, I don't know if we could beat the Chiefs, not conceding a loss but it would be a tough game.

Downvoted for sarcasm. Tough crowd

We could hold our own against Mahomes. Mertz would probably outshine him!!

Just took a closer look at our schedule and the SEC and ACC both screwed us over. In 2 games we have a good chance to get a win in (Arkansas and @ SC) they both have bye weeks prior to the game and FSU gets an FCS team the week prior while we play @ Missouri. We don't get those situations the whole season.
