shite starts to get funky if we beat LSU and Vandy.

You got a top 10 matchup in Jacksonville between 6-1 UF and 6-1/7-0 UGA, likely for a chance to get to Atlanta (if Kentucky loses a game, which I still expect)

Generally speaking we perform very well vs. Conventional Offenses like LSU's next week. I expect some serious Home FIeld advantage that night. I think we can beat both them and Vanderbilt -- UGA isn't the monster the media has made them out to be judging by last weekend and how SC looked vs. Kentucky.

Although a possibility if we win out...the SECCG is hard because UK has to lose twice. They play UGA at home and would need to lose that game and to A&M on the road this Saturday. Those are the only two games left that they could lose honestly. They aren't losing to Vandy, UT or Mizzou.

Don't think UGA will beat them on the road. Sorry Porter, but UK will get their hands on you and slowly strangle the life out of a team. You cannot stop Snell and you cant block Allen.

We'll see

We'll get Cleveland back at RG and Thomas will be 100% healthy so that will help us out. Our OL is pretty damn good when the first 5 are in but we can struggle when they're not.

Tell me a little more about UK if you don't mind. I haven't watched much of their games this year.

This is true, if we beat LSU this weekend, the SEC championship is in reach. LSU is our biggest test this year. The margin for error is small but if we can beat LSU, we can beat anyone on the schedule.

UF is what I thought they would be. I thought they would be 4-1 with a loss to a much more physical MSU team that would run all over them.

Well, UK is basically what I thought MSU would be, and MSU is way worse than I thought. So, other than that switch, the season has gone exactly as I expected.

I expected UF to also lose to LSU, UGA, FSU, and one of South Carolina or Mizzou.

Well, FSU is shite, and I think for sure UF can split with USCe and Mizzou at home.

No game will be easy for this team, but I think 8-4 is probably where this team is at right now, which is 1 game better than I thought they would be, but that's mostly because the schedule doesn't look as tough anymore.

How do you guys expect 10+ wins every year and not be disappointed when we come up short ? Every year it’s the same guys with high expectations and they are the ones that seem to be the least disappointed with the team when we fall short?

everyone is expecting a win here this weekend. i'm not so sure. i'd love one. after losing to kentucky, i didn't think we had a chance in the SEC this year. but here we are. only 1 loss so far going into week 6. we should be 3-2 at best. but this team keeps fighting and never giving up.

we're in the hunt. can we make it. we have to beat LSU. have to. i'd say we have to beat LSU, Mizzou and FSU to make this a "comeback" season. it will send a message to recruits that we're serious this time when it comes to making a comeback.

LSU needed a miracle last season to beat a team with its head coach with one foot out the door, missing its best receivers, running back, quarterback, both starting safeties, all backup or starting linebackers by one point last year.

Mullen is an exceptionally better coach than McElwain, it's not even a debate. This team is also very, very good against conventional offenses as I outlined before. Teams that line up and don't have mobile quarterbacks (Burrow is slightly mobile, but not close to KY's QB or Fitz).

We could always get hit with bad luck, but I guarantee this is a revenge game for the team and it's not a coincidence that Mullen scheduled this game on the biggest recruiting night on the season.

Their band played over our tribute to Tom Petty, we're coming for blood. LSU is overconfident about their win over Ole Miss. I think this will be our breakout game.

Big bad LSU....lets look at their resume....shall we? They beat a Univ of New Jawsey @ Coral Gables school that had a lot of issues on offense...but had decent defense=overrated and beat AU at Jordan Hare, quite a feat...but AU is proving to be a toothless tiger on offense that is missing a run game =overrated. Ole Missy? Please...no defense or run game.

What LSU has done is beat three teams, two of which had issues on offense and one with defensive issues. AU is not the eighth best team in the country. The SEC in general is not as good as made out to be. Mizzou, USC, UT, Arkie, MSU (good defense), Vandy are not that good. A&M, AU are just above. LSU, UK, Bama & UGA are much better. UF? Getting there every week.

Our offense is improving and that's key for us to beat LSU. They have used their defense to win...as most good teams do. Our defense is capable of giving us short fields along with our special teams.

We are + 9 in takeaways...important that our offense has protected the ball. No turnovers Saturday and we win going away. Our special teams alone can be the reason we win. Short fields for us and make them drive the ball the length of the field. We have shown the ability to make teams give the ball up even though MSU didn't.

Zuniga and Polite will be after Burrow all day. Let his OL cook in the Fla heat on the sidelines and just a fraction of a second misstep will have Burrow on the ground. Watching those two pass rush is fun...they have learned and mastered the techniques of getting around and through OL, and even when they don't get a sack, the hurries cause inaccurate throws.

And if our players hear the LSU band playing through our Tom Petty tribute? Might be a few pissed off Gators in the 4th qt. Give the team some extra motivation.

To be fair, Miami and Auburn would probably beat everyone on our schedule outside of MAYBE Kentucky, which maybe would be a close game.

I think UK could lose to Missouri. Missouri has an offense that can get a big lead on UK and force them to pass the ball . UK could also destroy Missouri if they get pressure on Lock . UK is good but they are not a great unbeatable team .

If we play Kentucky this week I think we win the game. Changing scheme, poor offensive gameplan, too much confidence in the offense and too little in the defense (so few blitzes and depending on an already thin line and LB corps) with a our team struggling to find its identity doomed us.

Miami isn't that great, the ACC as a whole really looks absolutely trash and Auburn beat Southern Miss 24 - 13.

I just don't think Orgeron is going to suddenly be a master gameplanner to go toe to toe with Mullen. If we had Muschamp/McElwain, I'd be more worried, but I know Mullen will have us in the right spot.

As someone who was full of doubt the last few weeks, I see no reason to be in doubt right now.

I agree that we beat or atleast make it a much closer games with UK if we played them now . The team seems to be getting better every week.

Am I the only one that wants to see UK lose Saturday if we win but want them to win if we lose ? The rest of their schedule is not that tough , kinda similar to ours . Georgia looks like they play all of their tough games in the second half of the season.
