I said I would be happy if we could improve our offense enough to be in the top half of college football (130 teams) but really wanted to be in the top 50.

UF Total Offense ranking: #48 with 426.7 yards per game.

I am so impressed with Mulllin's play calling and overall job he did with this offense.

We're almost top-25 rushing offense.

I imagine if Perine is seriously considering the NFL (he should), it's not impossible that we get Wright and Trey Sanders, especially with the playing time afforded to Pierce this year.

Jalon Jones also looked really happy in his latest visit, can't wait for him to be on campus.

Good coaches understand your limitations and plan around them. They determine what you can and can't do and call plays accordingly. Folks, we have a good coach!!!
The future is bright for Gator football, we just need some more players.

Buchanon my man, that sweep to the left on 4th down (I think it was fourth down) would have scored...but # 64 Jordan completely whiffed his block and Franks was hit in the backfield immediately but did manage to get back to the 3 yd line or so.

I saw somewhere they had this year and last posted. Can't find it now. We actually got better in some and worse in others.

On TV Greg McEleroy described the whiff and called out # 64, very obvious.

Franks got hit in the backfield almost as soon as he got the snap. Unblocked pass rusher. This has been a slight problem for us...but mostly in early games...it takes 11 guys functioning as one. Jordan had another whiff at the same time Taylor had a miscue and Franks had to throw it away.

No OL is going to be 100% all the time. Bama, Clemson are fined tuned machines on the OL...big and strong and fast. We need to be that.

This year compared to last year. Better in bold,

Defensive:

Scoring Defense 2018: 20.4 2017: 27.3
Rushing Defense 2018: 169.67 2017: 153.91
Passing Defense 2018: 175.1 2017: 195.4
Total Defense 2018: 344.8 2017: 349.3

Offensive:

Scoring Offense 2018: 34.5 2017: 22.1
Rushing Offense 2018: 209.50 2017: 156.36
Passing Offense 2018: 217.12 2017: 179.5
Total Offense 2018: 426.7 2017: 335.9

The offense obviously had the most growth.

Lets get some recruits in and continue to improve next year.

Talking about Franks:

I agree with Finch, and even if this isn't praise/defending/bashing, let's just get rid of the topic altogether.
