And yet his son signed with UF, maybe they were told in advance that the LB coach was leaving and he was the problem Earnest is talking about, if that is an actual quote from him.

the problem here is that everyone is freaking out thinking the worst. the worst being Billy knew about Bateman leaving ahead of ESD and didn't bother telling those recruits, i.e. Myles/Earnest., to ensure that they would sign.
some are also thinking this happened overnight and Billy was in the dark about the deal with Bateman/aTm.
