That's all I'll say on the matter as well.

Nope. He’ll be gone, or OSU will get the worst press you’ve ever seen

fricking ESPN had a small line item about the story earlier this afternoon, trying to sweep it under the rug...since OSU and Meatchicken are their darlings. But they had to blow it up when Meyer was given leave from job.
ESPN has not liked UF for some time and it has shown in the pitiful lack of coverage...except for bad news of course.
Too many big 10ers at ESPN.

As much as I dislike Urban for the way he left UF, I don't wish this shite on anybody, but head coaches have to realize that the buck stops with them and take action when things come up in the program, not matter what your loyalty is to the person involved, how it affects your team and who it might involve. The old days of turning a blind eye to a problem won't work in today's world.

Agreed. I just find it odd that people are crucifying him for this when he wasn't the abuser. I can't help but think of accused and convicted athletes and coaches who've made come backs.
I just have this weird feeling they are going to keep him and go through as many measures as possible to act like they are doing something about it.
If they had someone to replace Urban immediately (like with Tressel), his arse would have been gone yesterday.

As I read earlier on the rant, Paid leave of absence= working on what his buy out is.

I don’t think he survives either.

He lied about any knowledge of the abuse and he himself quoted some time ago that lying couldn't be tolerated..oops
be careful of what you say.

I don’t know all the ins and outs of his contract, but it sounds to me that Urban had a duty to report all reasonable suspicion of abuse under title 9. If that’s the case, sounds like he materially violated the terms and should be fired for cause.
He’s done.
He’s done.

I am beginning to think he did report it but doesn't want to call out his boss for not acting on it. I thought the AD had the final say in who gets hired and who gets fired?
Now that it's gone to an outside investigation, that to me means he's staying on and they want a 'neutral 3rd party' to announce they didn't find any evidence to justify cutting ties.
I think he keeps his job.
