For sure on this, but I'm encouraged to see at least more than one back be capable of being productive (hopefully Mack's pass blocking gets better, though). it'll be interesting to see the workload MJ gets too.

Definitely looking forward to Morrison getting back

Frankly, it doesn't bother me.

Taylor looked pretty good against Toledo. He keeps playing like that, he should start over Morrison.

Morrison had 2 incidents in the offseason. His fault if he loses his job.

is it sad this is the first time I noticed the long snappers name

The unknowns lol. My friend's brother long snapped for Miami during the Shannon era and never once had his named mentioned on TV.

yes

Drew Ferris had been on the team for several years now, and it was a big deal (at the time) when he got injured last year.

And the Crofoots are the first family of snapping & holding in college football. There has been a Crofoot on our roster for at least 5 or 6 years straight now.

I remember the crofoot story now. It's amazing. I can name every player on our two deep for years...but have not once paid attention to that LOL. Maybe if one screwed up occasionally I'd know his name but we seem pretty good at the position.

Do I have to turn in my Gator badge ;/

Taylor is a liability on defense.

Taylor as in the five star RB goes off on three carries like a freak...and loses a spot. Herndon looked good too, but Taylor looked better. He shouldn't start because of his blocking inability, but with his speed and cutting ability this dude can straight bolt on a crappy defense like Miami's. I'd like to see him run the ball a few times at least.

Same position as Morrison.

I thought that Taylor play well last year but he was horrible against Toledo.

I meant liability because he is turrible in coverage.

He will be good on run downs for us though. But yea, if he is on the field Miami will do everything possible to isolate him vs the slot wr or duke.

Is Ball our best coverage LB?

Our best coverage LB is probably Ball, yes. Maybe McMillian if he got the chance to play. Under Muschamp, it seems like he would rather bring a safety into the box to help with RB's though. Rather than leave the responsibility to a LB.
