Ok, here is the skinny, Carta-Samuels is the second rated passer in FBS

Josh Watson (LB) is the leading tackler in FBS.

They beat Arkie up in the mountains yesterday. The passing attack is going to be a problem for our thin secondary. But the CSU defense is overmatched...or SHOULD BE

Temps up there are lows in the high 40s to low 50s and dry air with highs in the mid to high 60s. I expect them to wilt quickly in our humid hot weather.

Oops, just checked weather again and this week they will have 80 degree type highs and low in the 50s, HOWEVER their humidity level when they depart thurs or fri? Try 20% humidity and when they get hit with 70-80 % they will go into shock probably.

Heads up to cable tv viewers...since its a 4 o'clock game (games never start on time), the 7:30 game on SECN will take over the last part of the game possibly. Spectrum has SECN Extra and if its interrupted, that will be the channel to switch to.

Here's to a good comeback week I sure hope we show a ton of improvement and let's hope we don't have to rely on a humidity difference to beat these guys

Much needed OC game to work on a bunch of problems that were exposed last week against SEC competition.
I have faith that Coach Mullen will get it fixed but Saturday showed that we are farther from being a contender that I had hoped we were with all the starters we had returning.

let's remember that meyer was 9-4 in his first season with a curb stomping by bama. we turned out okay for a few years after that.

This is going to be a dog fight, which is sad, but it is what it is.

With this defense combined with a shite offense, this team will be lucky to beat anyone.

I would like to see the team look tough . Kentucky made us look soft on every side of the ball . It would be nice to see the Offense spend up some . Our offense never gets in a rhythm with us slowing down the game and changing RBs every position. Some screens , bootlegs and sweeps would be nice , to keep the defense guessing.Toney needs to get the ball more . In the Tennessee game on the first position Franks needs to run the ball right at a DB in stead of running away . That should get the players on the offense excited.

We need to shite kick this team back to the Rockys and give em 2 million dollars worth of arse whip.

And frick that leghumper HC Bobo too. CSU is 1-2 contrary to what SECN says...they forgot that the rama dama ding dongs lost to Hawaii 5-0 a week before regular schedules started.

Arkie is a pile of dog poop. That is all.

Don't know if this is me or the whiskey talking, but I think we will come out and curb stomp them! The defense will step up their game and be ready to play.

There is a chance we do beat Colorado State very badly, and this is why:

Our defense has struggled against mobile Quarterbacks forever. A lack of agility and discipline has resulted in Quarterbacks just rolling up and down the field with ease, and CSU isn't really that kind of offense.

If they line up and play conventional ball, we will probably have a good day on defense.

Conversely: Their defense is weak both on run and pass, but if our Quarterback can utilize the checkdown, we should be able to do both with relative ease.

My biggest fear is what kind of loss we're going to eat at MSST since we couldn't contain KY's QB.

I've watched some of Cowbell State and their QB is not that accurate...but he is a good runner. To beat them, as in most games, you want to make them throw the ball more often than they'd like to.
