Do we owe him less money now that he has another job?

Still think it’s silly not to call another grown man by his name and instead a derogatory nickname.

But whatever, I don’t wish ill on his career. UF isn’t for everybody and his self destruction at the end showed it wasn’t for him.

It's a hard job. Win your division for two years, have an average 10 wins per year (until this year) and the fans call you shark fricker, butterteeth and celebrate when you lose. Say you never beat anyone worthwhile (Ole Miss, LSU on the road) and even after you cap off the year by crushing a bowl opponent, set defensive records in that game -- doesn't matter.

If you can't fix a program that took five years to destroy (Meyer sleepwalking, Muschamp completely mismanaging things) within 2, you're just a terrible coach.

It's a rough job and he clearly didn't have the injury or maturity to just ''tune it out''. Mullen I don't think cares -- but his wife might.

I never celebrated him losing. While he was our coach I wished him nothing but the best as any TRUE Gator fan would. However after learning of the extent that he was lacking, in coaching and developing players and excluding former players, media, and fans from access to the team we love. Plus all the BS comments, fake death threats, and constantly celebrating small victories without having any ambition for more. Then walking off with a HUGE buyout it's enough to make me hate him!

I figured since we have a Butterteeth thread going, I am choosing Villanova over Michigan because of my disgust for Jim McElwain.

I can’t believe he was ever hired here. Jeremy Foley did a ton of really good things but I really wish he would have outsourced some help with hiring Football coaches. He was terrible at it.
