People think Mullen ran the program into the ground. Well, Napier is going to bury it.

I'd say Napier is laying the final flowers to rest, as Dan killed and buried this program.

We are so fd.

I think I’m on the fire Napier train now. How in the world could he let this happen?

I hear Lane apparently wants to coach here.

I'd be cool with Florida hiring him right now.

If that happens, fire Napier immediately.

Losing ETN sucks but with this OL I can’t blame him

If we don’t land at least 2 top OL this cycle we can go ahead n forfeit next szn

ETN is a playmaker with the ball but a liability as a blocker.

Tough loss for sure, but not a #1 back until he improves his blocking ability.

Way bigger hit to perception rather than production. I have very little hope of us doing well in the portal, but for fun let's say we add a couple good o lineman with the NIL we save from ETN. A guy with 90% of the talent could outproduce him relatively easily.

That's because Napier has no idea wtf he's doing.

This! Dude needs to act like a CEO not part-time manager. Hire a good OC and get the frick out of the way.

It definitely hurts the perception. But, it also hurts the offense, on the field. There is no other rb on our roster that is explosive as Etienne.

Don't get me wrong, I hate he is leaving but if we don't get some O linemen and better play calling, the RB position is the least of our worries.

Anyone else hearing the Ed O for DL coach rumors floating around?

Would love to get him, but I recently spoke to a sports talk radio host here in town and he's good friends with Ed's agent. He said this is absolutely not happening and that Ed is done coaching. Take that FWIW

on3 is reporting of a plane from Louisville to Gainesville.

Apparently, Mark Ivey of Louisville could be a target for DL coach.

Not particularly happy about that if it happens.
Would prefer the Pitt DL Coach.

Not sure what Napier has in the works with other Coaches. He needs to start making some hires because of Signing DAY.

I'm assuming some his targets are in the NFL. but needs a proven OC
Wish Sale & Stapleton were gone. The Oline recruiting nor the on field play has been even Average

Definitely would prefer Patridge .

I think we already hired the San Diego Chargers DB, or assistant DB coach, Harris. But it hasn't been announced yet.

And with Seaton going to Colorado, why are we keeping Sale or Stapleton?

Mark Hocke needs to be demoted or fired too.

Ive been calling for Hocke to go since the end of last season.

Hope he gets a good OC.

The O-line play was bad this whole season. Just so disappointing losing all these commits and losing starters in the portal.
It is just very disappointing that Napier doesn't work the portal well at all with his ARMY of people that are on the staff in some way or another

See how it goes. Go Gators

Background on Will Harris:

• As Georgia Southern DC, his defense ranked No. 2 in FBS in red zone stops.

• His Washington secondary was the nation’s No. 1 pass defense in 2021.

• In 2020, UW was first in Pac-12 in total defense & pass defense.
