People on Swamp 24/7 are freaking out and rightfully so. I don’t understand the lack of communication with Smith or Gibson. Smith is one of the fastest players in high school and Gibson is the best receiver in the state of Florida and they’re just gonna let them walk…

Napier is said to like big WRs, he calls them Wide Blockers so if they don’t fit that mold he’s prolly gonna let ‘em walk or ask them to move on

Napier wasn't kidding when he said we might not have any early signing day recruits.

word on the street is that Napier might be coming after LSU committ Walker Howard

sounds like Napier is asking a bunch of recruits to wait until february before signing. we really may not have anyone sign in december.

Another message board I’m on has several guys that pay subscriptions and plenty of posters who have been pretty accurate about recent events. I’ll summarize a couple things on recruiting starting with Evers.
According to Alderman, Evers wanted to be the only QB in this class. In a scenario where EJ transfers and AR-15 lights the world on fire and goes to the NFL after the 22 season, this could put us in a bad spot down the road. If EJ manages to keep the job and AR-15 transfers, we’re in the same predicament.
I’m also seeing chatter that CBN is asking previously committed players to put certain workouts on tape and send it in for further evaluation.
Nap and his small staff have been hitting Louisiana and Texas hard because they have already scouted those regions for several years.
Guarantees from the Mullen era are not being afforded by the new regime.
My personal take:
Losing Evers stings no doubt, but he’s averaging around 50% completion his senior year. I believe he will be a good QB at the next level, but not a program changer. I don’t see this as a Corral / EJ situation.
Nap appears to be waiting to fill out the staff before accepting commitments. This leads me to believe that we will be getting some NFL guys that he has ties to, and wants the new staff to have time to evaluate players for their scheme.
Nonetheless, they’ve been hitting the trail (all 3 of them lol) pretty hard. Nap told us it would be slow. Nap told us he has a plan. We all wanted a change. This is what comes with change.

Don't discount Del Rio and Kitna. Both were pretty good high school players and waiting for their chance.
