This Terrance Gibbs kid has been a baller since a freshmen 1500 yds 21 TDs w/ 11+ ypc wow. I'm a fan sounds like he should be a gator soon. Tore ACL jr yr sophomore highlights are there on his page looks like a good one for sure

Believe it or not but we need a stud RB recruit...Gibbs looks the part of a kid who would r/s and hit the weight room...I myself prefer 5'10 type guys with tree trunk legs that burst through crowds...but Gibbs could carry the mail.
Remember Pierce and Davis are seniors and Lingard is a jr, so we will need depth soon.

We may need one because of a transfer.
Wright, Bowman, Lingard are here for us next year, with Wright and Lingard both almost certainly leaving at the end of the year unless things really don't work out.

Nayquan Wright is pretty much what your describing. Kids a beast imo maybe not as thick as you might prefer still plenty big.
Lingard needs to make his move and get on the field this yr or yeah he prob gone. Cant say I hate the idea of Wright and Bowman as clear 1 2 punch if that ended up being the situation.

247 basically said Evers is guaranteed a bump after his E11 performance. Also after Julian Humphrey showing all the traits u want in a corner. Also running best 40 being crowned the fastest man at 4.38 at the opening doesn't hurt.

So much for Matt poofing on Evers....as he finished 3rd in the Elite 11 and was upgraded to 4 star status before the Elite. If anyone saw the video of Nick and his mom talking about the recruiting process....then you have to really like him and his family.
Another nugget is he has been in the ear of a 5 star WR that was his team mate and we are in the top five of schools that he has listed....so even more to like.
We are going to close strong imo and there are some juicy plums out there that we have a chance with...so enjoy the ride and lets see what happens.

I hope you are right and he continues to improve. All I said was that right now he is an average or slightly above average high school QB. I didn't say that he had a ceiling of a 3 star. I trust Mullen when it comes to QBs but it doesn't change the fact that our competition is getting commits from 4 and 5 stars.
Looks like he is continuing to improve, just like I hoped a few weeks back. I trust Mullen with QBs, although sticking with Franks as long as he did is now a 20/20 hind sight head scratcher. Evers seems to be a good kid, ceiling may be high with Mullen's coaching. All of this doesn't change the fact that our rivals are pulling in 4 and 5 star QBs on a regular basis, why isn't UF?

Evers is maybe the steal of the class and we need more beef on the lines...QBs are ok right now and we can always look to take a plum next year. What we need is a DL who can fortify our defense, a dynamite LB and maybe a couple WRs.
We are starting to gain depth and I feel good about this years defense. The pain of 2020 will soon be a memory. That is why our DC is still with us. Cant wait til Bama game and show the world how good our defense really is.

All but Issiah Bond and the K are now 4* on espn fyi. Funny Bond is still 78 after Saban rolled out the red carpet and their like WRU atp. Oh well Chandler Smith got a big bump like I expected but I hoped from 247. Still 16th best WR on ESPN not bad.

I'll admit again I do not follow and keep up with recruiting all that much. I worry more about them when they actually get to UF because a commitment now let's face it is about as solid as melted ice cream.
But I do have this question IMG is what about maybe 2 and a half hours from Gainesville give or take 15 minutes how come no one at Florida can seem to get guys from there they seem to every year have a couple of highly rated recruits and Florida does not even get as much of a sniff from them why is that? We are constantly losing bIg time players out of Florida to out of state programs like Bama, Clemson, Uga, if it was to other Florida schools so be it but being UF is the Premier Program in the state at this moment why can we not keep some of these guys in the State to get to UF.
I truly believe that Mullen doesn't recruit some areas of Florida good enough or just doesn't evaluate the recruiting process good enough if someone can explain better that would be great but obviously there is definitely a problem there and how can it get fixed because it is not going to fix itself.

IMG is a sports academy and a lot of football players are from out of state...tuition is pricey and some of these kids are bought and sold at an early age to provide them the chance to go to a premier sports academy.
Those kids aren't there to go to high school...its a minor league college program. Bama is recruiting at a very elite level because of NCs won there. UF has struggled with Muschamp and McElwain and we haven't won a NC since 2008 and these kids parents were mere toddlers then.
The answer is winning NCs...and you might laugh but we are going to knock off Bama in the Swamp and that helps us going forward. We have very good players on the roster right now on defense and we will see a big improvement over 2020.

Instead of whining about these players leaving Florida do something about it get to the playoffs then you will start to keep some of these 5* players that are leaving for UGA & BAMA & CLEMSON
