Former 5* WR Justin Shorter announces that he will transfer to Florida.

We went from having zero 5-stars on the roster to four.

Tell OSU that adding five star Fields doesn't count the same. Or Hurts at OU.

No, but some three star from wake forest is supposed to come in and outperform everything Fromm ever did. That has to be the most delusional fan base in America, up there with Miami.

That one is the most hilarious part of it all. Jamie's supposed to be a better passer than Fromm despite not having the stats in the ACC, which is known for its uhhh, relaxed pass coverages.

Even just watching his film he just chucks it up into the air and hopes for the best. He isn't reading defenses at all.

Similarly he has the same rushing average as one Feleipe Franks, so if they think he's going to come to a superior league and light it up I'm not sure what to tell them.

Surratt is really good and going to be a NFL WR. Jamie would chuck it up to him and he would go get it.

He also throws a lot of picks especially against Clemson and Va Tech.

Elam is going to have a huge day in Jax

Right now it seems like UGA

But that could quickly change. This has been one of the most crazy recruitment stories ever.

Henderson
Williams
Britt
Beckwith

Manuel

Count in Shorter and Lingard that is a hell of a class

Don't think we close on a RB and hoping we don't reach then not get a talent like Beckwith, Britt, or Manuel.

It will also mean that Knox struck out on every decent RB in the South East.

RB coach is supposed to be a good recruiter.

How do you even pitch RB here?

"Do you like getting contacted in the backfield every play? Do you enjoy having to fight to even get to the line of scrimmage? IS NEVER SEEING THE LIGHT OF DAY EVEN WHEN WE HAVE A NUMBERS ADVANTAGE WHAT YOU REALLY LIKE? ^_^

Florida is the perfect school for you."

We're lucky we even got Lingard, honestly, and I have no idea how anyone could sell the RB position after the absolutely horrendous year we had.

I don't know. I think we showcased Perine to the NFL bigly this season by finding ways to get the ball to him in space with a shitty OL. Not many teams could have done that, especially with as many great receivers as we had who I am sure all wanted the ball.

Just think how awesome things will be for the RB's when the line improves.

I'd think most recruits would understand it was a down year for the Oline and isn't a common thing under Mullen at Florida and wasn't at Miss State

Guys, we're Gator fans.

We know it'll improve because it really can't get any worse.

Now imagine you're a recruit from the outside looking in and imagine what other teams are telling you. Even in your scenarios:

"Are you sure you want to wait for another 'down year'. Here, look at us at Georgia, we have had practically the same production at RB and rotate heavily."

Or:

"Hey, look at us here at LSU, we're building a monster. Don't waste your time waiting for them to get a better year."

Clemson? Ohio State? I mean, we can't seriously expect to pull these guys with how much of a shitshow we had at running this year and that's just the bottom line.

It was way worse than you guys realize.

Show them tape of 2018 with Scarlett, Perine, and Pierce

Show them Perine flexed out

Right now it is not Clemson or Bama, it is GT and Colorado that we are losing recruits to.

2018 is not 2019, these are kids. Literal kids. They don't give a frick about the past, what are we doing now? They aren't going to listen to pitches about what we did a few years ago and how we'll reproduce it next year but couldn't last year.

In the end, they'll listen to other teams who sell them not only on playing time but the fact that they actually had a cohesive running game -- we don't.

It's the same with McElwain and Nussmeier not being able to get a good QB. How do you recruit a decent Quarterback when we haven't had a good one in a few years?

You guys bitch just to bitch, and at this moment if you sincerely thought that kids will be sold on a vision by our perspective then I have a bridge that I just put up for sale.

We got a 5* transfer in Lingard, just be happy to have that. Who cares if we lost out in a season where we couldn't run for shite?

Put the results on the field, and you don't need to sell recruits on bullshite. If we want to recruit at RB better, we should show recruits that we can actually run the unit consistently.

I would just show him the highlights for Perine's Orange Bowl MVP performance. That recent enough?

And then follow that up with D'Andre Swift's performance in the Sugar Bowl. Go on over there and let them give you the ball until you break.
