Because he was wrong as frick about Mullen.
Wrong about California.
Wrong about August 1st deadline.
Wrong about elite recruiting being necessary to win Championships.
Wrong about on-field results affecting recruiting. (Probably the most egregious error).

Last year he was a RSSO, this year he should be a RSJR. Some guys graduate early, and I think (if what I read was correct) he should be a RSJR.
Edit: 2017 he was a RSJR, this year he should be a RSSR.
"With his transfer to Florida, he will have one year of eligibility remaining, though he could potentially secure one more if granted an additional year as a result of his season-ending injury in 2018."
According to 247, although I'm not certain of the circumstances for that. They really need to get an eligibility tracker.

He's my favorite in our pretty storied history of NBs. He was literally always around the ball. And of course his strip of OBJ was the highlight of not just 2012, but really our entire Lost Decade.
