It is just Twitter, but Jaydon Hill is putting a lot out there about Steele and others “coming home”. As in the swamp.

Makes me feel better. Also having most of the class locked up by the early signing period is going to be nice.

I would never pay a red cent for whatever the frick any site is trying to sell.

I don't care that much about knowing certain things ten to thirty minutes before everyone else, because eventually people will just share it. It's a really stupid model for subscriptions -- look at the traffic SEC Rant brings, or even Gator Reddit.

If one of these braindead content creators actually understands that traffic = more than subscriptions they will absolutely kill the market.

Until then Gators continue to grift Gators, as evidenced when a 247 Gator writer helped shoot Chris Steele's video and hid who he was going to commit to (this is what people pay Insiders for. )

I mean, if I had to pay it might be Higdon, but it's kind of the same thing as everyone else: Never tell you big things, he gets a few favors from recruits to break their commitment but outside of that you're paying for almost nothing.

It's that time of the year where they get the most signups. They'll clickbait you to death on every sight.

This shite right here. You are paying money to people who literally lie to your face, both outright and by omission.

It would be a tough sell even if they told you "x is committing to Florida, y is committing to Alabama" as soon as they found out, but they literally don't even do that. Subscribers are crazy.

The best shite is after signing day when Stampini comes out with his annual “i knew it all, but just couldn’t tell you because of the butterfly effect article”.

My favorite is the "we had him up until the last moment. He was telling everyone he was all blank U but so and so made a last push to get him"

Even the Podcasts are trying to get in on it, and we just continue this circlejerk of writers bullshitting about things that are pretty obvious. That's why I've been shitting on certain podcasts who were narrative, agenda writing since the beginning of this cycle and appealed to the most negative of Gator fans. -- Oh, and I will be talking mad shite about that August 1st deadline bullshite they were driving all fricking off-season.

To Porter:

We heard that thousands of times, and it's just...man, I have no idea why it suddenly made me mad this year -- maybe because now I pay a lot more attention to recruiting, but it's all just smoke and mirrors for websites like 247. I have no idea if UGA has similar subscription sites (Sticcs, a Florida fan just opened one, as did Jason Higdon) but it's such a bizarre niche idea for a website.

So the Rivals UGA guy says the family told him Sanders is going to UGA.

Impossibru!

I've been told by UF writers for years that leaking a commitment like that will cause a recruit to change their mind (and that did literally happen with Muschamp and that off-radar blue chip DE), unless of course

1. It's a lie to drive subscriptions.

2. Sanders is just using UGA as a last minute player in a bidding war against the Bama boosters.

Personally, I'm done with mutually assured destruction. I hope to god on this weekend's OV we can get video/audio of them laying out how much Bama and UGA are offering and publish that shite. Brett McMurphy needs a new story, right?

Especially with Sanders, not saying he couldn't eventually end up at UGA but he's been committing to like 7 schools now or something.

His entire family is going PSYOP.

Aint going to happen friend. Even Spurrier had proof that the girls school cheated and gave recruits $$$. Coaches don't tell because you never know what one of your boosters has done or even an asst coach for that matter. Its bad juju.

Even most Georgia fans admit that Georgia is stepping way out of bounds. NCAA remains silent.

In the 1984 case against UF by the NCAA one of the charges was an asst coach buying a pack of gum for a recruit at the airport so he wouldn't have his ears popping on the flight, I kid you not.

There were other serious charges...Steinbrenner's private jet flew a recruit to Florida...and others that today wouldn't raise an eyebrow in Kansas...but we were the lambs in fertile recruiting grounds and we got slaughtered. 2 years of no TV, serious scholly reductions etc etc.

Our NCAA jail time allowed Bowden to reap recruits.

It seems to me the only way the NCAA will investigate is when a former player goes on record saying he was paid.
