Honestly, I think that a lot of Gators'...media? I don't know if I'd call it media, but let's say content providers -- I think a lot of them are trying to put out fires of recruits who wanted to keep it a secret/surprise.
For instance: Sticcs would never, ever launch a website centered around recruiting that was pretty much gravitating around Steele unless he was very, very certain Steele was coming. So now, he and a few other guys (including Steele) are trying to sell this Steele to USCe or Oklahoma narrative (it began with Oregon) to make it 'exciting'.
I feel like there are a lot of guys who are definitely going to be Gators, and I think Zlat knows but wants to do the same. These guys wouldn't be this brave with their posts unless they knew something, especially with Sticcs because it'd be the death of his recruiting website that he just launched.
In the end, I'm kind of tired of the games 'truth or troll'. I want guys to start committing early like Mullen's got going on in 2020, guys who want to be part of the program and who aren't interested in the 'ride' of recruiting outside of free paid vacations in OVs.
Sorry to rant, but I think we're in outstanding positions and Gator Content Providers are trying to throw us off the scent.

We really need to clean up in Lakeland the next 2 years. Hammond was dominant tonight against STA. Zipp and Summerall were good. Would love to get after Bowman for 2020, kid looks like a star.

I agree that we have an inordinate amount of drama queens and seem to attract them every year. Dunno if the media constantly running cover for them makes it worse or what.
I'm ready for there to be urgency around a Florida schollie again. Offer a blue chip, they commit, they sign. Bing bang boom. There's always gonna be 1 or 2, but we have 6 or 7 seemingly every year.

And man, it's like every year we have at least one Copeland. Just not a big fan of this type of stuff because you don't really see it with the other big time, elite brands. They normally just move on to the next guy.
I'm really excited for the future classes, because I know once we put multiple good years on the field recruits will flock and it'll be easier to pick and choose.
Right now it almost feels like the staff...likes that the kids are having fun with it? I mean, if it lands us top-tier guys I'm all for it, but it has definitely made me stop following recruiting as heavily as I once did.

I wonder if the coaches like the way they act or is it that's the game we have to play right now because of how far the brand has fallen ? Either way I cant wait for signing day so I can find something else to worry about haha.
Edit more and more chatter coming out that zip and summerall to the canes. Would be nice for them to shut down their recruitment this weekend and not take that last official.

I personally think Crystal Balls/predictions has really caused recruits to try and go for more attention -- I wouldn't be surprised if they signed with Miami, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they signed with UF (both of them).
Florida has a LOT more to offer right now and is much easier to sell the future. Richt always seems to have these wild years where his team overachieves and then suddenly fights to make a bowl.
Just wait until LOIs, I trust the staff on this one to beat out Richt.

Oh come on DB...you should be used to these games recruits play....a lot of them never got attention at home and the recruiting services kiss their asses and fans twitter them all the time.

I've been on 247 since 2013. I wont be renewing again. The articles are ok but the posters are horrible.
Higdon is a sunshine pumper so if you remotely ask about something that's negative toward florida your labeled a troll.
I like to hear both sides of the story not just we are getting everybody. Honestly I find just as much stuff on twitter reddit and other team free boards than i do on paid sites.
