Wont lie, I was worried as hell for us using this game to roll out the red carpet for that many top recruits. Obviously Coach was pretty confident the team would put on a show along with the Swamp that was rockin

I NEVER worried about the LSU game, I KNEW we would win and I am predicting we beat UGAs arse too. Recruits will see what is going on in Hogtown. We have home games against Mizzou and USC to have lots of visitors too.

Recruits saw a lot..had to be impressed.

Insane atmosphere

A coach who cares and he showed it. Kids love playing for that.

Tough football

Progress

That's what needed to happen. We had to win over at least 4-5 kids at that game completely that maybe weren't sold. No kid wouldn't want to play in that atmosphere.

Having our 2008 team celebration really helped. I saw a few players pumping up Franks in the 4th qt, especially Louis Jordan, on the sidelines.

Recruits got a taste of what the Swamp was like in 2008. And they saw a team that refused to lose and coaches that out coached the other team by a wide margin.

I haven’t been able to find any stories on what the visitors thought of the game and atmosphere. Any of you guys have some?

They really, really loved it. Summerall said "it was the best game he's ever been to". I think they were all vibing, I know there are some other stories but I just don't care if they don't commit. All I know is that they were very happy.

Also: Look what comment Quashon Fuller liked.

Yep, I called it a while back to not give up on him.

Elam and Steele have been talking a lot, and while people think Elam might be going to Georgia a lot of Florida guys are really confident in him. Even referees at his college games are saying he's Gator.

That's gonna be a hell of a DB class if we can shut it down.

It's funny because he liked my comment about Florida a few days ago, which in and of itself isn't anything amazing, but interesting.

USC fans and insiders feel strong about him going to Florida.

Would be a massive get for us to get him. I really think we close this class strong. Mullen isn’t an elite recruiter, but he did a pretty great job to close out last year and got kids he wanted instead of just accepted Macs guys. Dean, Evan, Grimes, Jefferson, Pierce and others have done well so far. Not to mention Jones and Copeland can both redshirt which is good long term.

It won’t be Georgia level..but we can get the guys we need in this class. Hopefully one or two big time surprise gets would be nice of course.

The difference between the first and 8th class is pretty negligible. As long as we're hitting top ten classes I trust Mullen. I'm not too sure about this year, but our rivals losing every week has got to be improving our stock.
