You guys legit piss me off. Stop cheering for Florida if this team pisses you off so bad.

Seriously. The negativity needs to stop.

I try to remind myself that the 2006 team went 5-5 in the middle of the season before they went on their late game run.

I try...

Bro you basically campaigned in negativity for over a year for Frank's, you were also very negative during Mac's time. This is no different than when you do it, so shut up. We all want UF at it's best, and it hasn't been in basketball for a few years now.

Uhh what? I didn’t like Mac from the get go because he was full of shite. It was obvious. I was dead right about him.

I was never that critical of Franks like many of you were. So that’s a lie.

Don’t make up shite. You have hated Mike White for years and I’ll find it funny when he does better than expected yet again. This team will be playing well when it matters. When you throw a bunch of freshmen and sophomores like this together, it takes some time for developing them as a team. The 04s weren’t lighting people up until the last 3rd of the season.

So stop while you’re ahead.

I thought you were Straws when I read it.

As for the negativity.

White deserves questions. He has underwhelmed for three years. I backed off claiming he should be fired, but this is year 5. We have more talent than anyone but UK in the SEC. We still look average.

As for better than expected. You mean his second year? That was literally the only time he did better than expected his entire tenure.

He did a good job trying to revamp the offense after a few games, but the fact that he didn't notice an issue the entire off season is a SERIOUS issue. How do you not notice the offense is dysfunctional during the off season?

Go to ANY Gator forum. The same things I have been saying for two years are now the common theme. Regression of players, underwhelming offense, lack of basketball IQ on that side of the ball. Every forum now shares this sentiment. Announcers and commentators during our games have said this as well.

He MAY fix it, absolutely. I have no hatred towards White, i have hatred of UF underachieving. This year there really is no excuse. Three returning starters, a senior transfer voted preseason SEC player of the year. Three stud freshman. Can not blame talent. At some point, it's on coaching to get things right. How many years are you willing to wait to see if White can figure out that side of the ball? Ten?

If he can't fix it by the end of this year, it's time to start looking elsewhere. I was a little soon on my fire him, and that was unfair last year. This year though is the one everyone on here said was the year. So is it fair to claim if he underachieves, it's time to look to a new coach?

If he can get to the Sweet Sixteen and not get blown out, that's a good year. That should be the bare minimum with this level of talent. Elite 8 will be slightly exceeding expectations. Final Four will be exceeding expectations and proof he is a top tier coach.

Fair enough?

Offense looked a lot more fluid that game. Nembhard played a great game. Looked like he did in the offseason. Hope it keeps up.

Look much better today. Pushed the pace a little and when we slowed it down, AN was in control of the offense. Starting to look like a team.

Fans have been ripping AN but he is the best passer on the team. His pacing was off though. I liked when Glover got it up court then passed to NH. Seemed to flow really well with both of them out there.

It's so crazy how much better we looked in the 2nd half. I am starting to think that we are focusing too much on Blackshear and it is slowing the offense down. He is a great player, but we need him to fit in organically rather than some forced way like with him at the top of the key starting up the offense.

I think the biggest issue is we keep feeding him at the top of the key and he is not an elite passer. He is so much better positioned either posted up or sneaking off his man and hitting a 20 foot jumper. We move a lot faster when he was out. Agreed. He is one of our best players, but it does seem the flow isnt as good with him out there. Offense needs to continue to go through the guards and Johnson who can attack hard and fast.

He is an elite passer, we just need to find the best fit for him in this office. I think we could be trying to showcase him for the NBA rather than let him play the role he fits best.

He really hasn't been though. That was one of his hype points preseason but from the key the ball has stalled in his hands far to often. He doesnt turn it over, but it does kind of hold the possession. Which is why I think we moved quicker even on set pieces with him out.

Mind you. He is still a must get the ball to type of guy, but him at the key with three guards outside standing around the arc seems to have issues.

He does not have the vision to find the cutter like Nembhard and so it ends up him just passing back out to a guard and resetting the offense at least 40 percent of the time. He passes very well from the post though. Just need to find a way to get him the ball in there more.

Nembhard is a very good passer. The ball does stick to his hands in the halfcourt, but that doesn't negate his vision, which is undeniably a strength.

Nembhard is probably the most scrutinized player at UF since Calathes. He frustrates me at times, too, but I think a lot of the criticism of him is off. He wouldn't benefit from being moved to SG. If anything, that would neutralize his skillset further. And for the potential Ques has shown this year, those wanting to hand the keys to the offense to him this year are fricking crazy.

Nembhard is pretty great when the offense can generate an advantage or a step for him. He's very good at getting a good shot for himself or for someone else off P&R action. He's just not athletic enough to generate an advantage or a step in iso. White's tried to get creative in generating an advantage for Nembhard, but I hate posting up guards -- most guards just aren't used to it and don't know how to play with their backs to the basket. We need to be emphasizing the Nembhard and Kerry P&R action; that's been our most successful offense this year.

I'd like to see Johnson cutting to the basket far more as well. Rough start to this game hoping they wake up. Cant lose to Missouri

Giving up 51 in the 1st half. That’s a crazy number. Missouri had to of caught lightning in a bottle. I hope.

Awful game. Can't let it linger into the next game. Ole Miss at home is a game we should win, no excuses.

Sometimes teams catch fire and just hit shots I understand that and it happens but I don't understand the effort tonight there was none blacksheer and that was it Nembhard in the first half was almost in the paint while pinton was being chased by Payne on the dunk and Nembhard just completely ran away to the sideline of the court that was pitiful.

Just lack of effort from the team and the coaching staff you can do nothing about teams getting hot from the 3 line I get that but not playing hard is a coach and team problem and the team did not come to play tonight.

Yeah I commented in the game thread that the reason that dunk happened was because Nembhard didn't stop the ball in transition

He had an awful game and got benched. Hopefully he'll respond on Tuesday
