Mullen was at Seminole High School on Monday and it is just four blocks away from where I live. Didn't find out til dinner time when my wife told me.
Seminole HS is one of the lowest rated football programs in the Tampa Bay area, I think DM is paying homage to every single school in Fla to lay the foundation for future recruits who might be highly sought after. I cant remember the last time a Seminole player was taken by a power 5 team.

Oh, you mean lazy Mullen literally trying to visit every high school in the state? Never heard of 'im.

Van Jefferson: with the news that Jefferson will not be accepted to UF, Copeland becomes a priority IMO. That said, UF has enough talent to overcome this and TBH, may open another ship for a more productive player in the long run.
Haven't seen anything other than this regaridng VJ.

Noah Jefferson committed to Ole Miss and had his visit cancelled due to qualifying concerns! Van will have his appeal heard in early March/April and is one of 6 Ole Miss players being represented in a case against former coach Hugh Freeze!

That's what I've heard, I hadn't heard that VJ didn't ''qualify'', but I think they're going to get permission to play this year.
Honestly, even if the players were freshmen, they ought to get permission to play right away. A school or coach breaking the rules should be fricking automatic.

Pretty sure that Van is already in classes. The Jefferson news was about JUCO Noah Jefferson.

Yeah, pretty sure whoever posted that was confusing their Jefferson’s.

Yes but the NCAA is super inconsistent in its rulings!

TJ posted it, as it were.
Now, onto the fun news.

I think cope and Chatfield are gators! NPF to ND...just seems like that type of dude!

I think NPF is a Gator at this point. Wouldn't surprise me either way, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. However, we are a heavy favorite per 247 Crystal Balls.

5:00 PM update: Not necessarily an update, but I wanted to put some thoughts down on NPF. UF makes the most sense. We have a huge glaring need at LT and open position battles all over the offensive line. Playing time to be had, quality offensive coaching, a staff that has been together for years and will likely be around through NPF's college career, and 5 seniors that have plenty of experience and guidance to offer. That's just on the field. Off the field, UF is a top public University and absolutely dominates the location battle to where anybody in his family can drive less than 2 hours North to see him play on Saturday's. No other school offers a balance of football/academics/location like we do. All that said, there is nothing that makes less sense than recruiting.

Maybe I’m just being very optimistic but I think we get:
NPF
Copeland
Chatfield
Lamar
Nesta
Caleb Johnson
Boykin
Gerald
I just have a feeling that Dan and his staff have done a really good job on the trail so far and the results will show on signing day...at least one can hope

Honestly, in my humble opinion, it could go either way. We could lose NPF to Ohio State and Nesta is almost certain to go to Miami and could end up bringing Chatfield with him.
However, a lot of recruits have come away from Gainesville pretty much blown away by how different they're being recruited. Mullen clearly just has more zest and prestige to work with, and it could pay dividends. However, I'm preparing to be disappointed.

I won't prepare for disappointment. I expect a very big signing day.
Mac was a shite stain recruiter and lowered our expectations.
Done with it. I expect to finish strong, because it is EXPECTED at UF. We won't get everyone, but we should get a lot.
Watkins, Gouraige, NPF, Gerald, Boykin, Lamar would be a happy list for me and reasonable. If we can add a few more, awesome. I'd love to land Copeland and Chatfield as well. We also have some three stars we can add at the end and no issue there. As long as we land some of the bigger names. We need to have them to compete in the SEC.

I want to believe, 2008. I really, really want to believe. But I'm not going to get my hopes up. The moment he pulls in a top ten class is the moment where I'll start believing again. I been hurt, baw, been hurt too many times.
