LBer is the most pressing need on defense and DT next. Campbell, Conliffe and Carter are going to be studs imo. Our defense will be stout in 2018 no matter who the DC would be. Marcell Harris should get sixth year and he was our leading tackler in 2016 at safety.

Offense? Better get WRs who have burning desire to be the best....and sacrifice their body to catch balls in traffic. Need two more RBs....ditto TEs. Of course we always need OL and probably sign 4.

UF needs everything. A full class of 25.

OL is weak. Need better players there. WR hasn't impressed me outside of a couple guys - UF needs more there. TEs are laughably bad. QB is bad.

The only thing UF is OK on is RB.

Defense, they need literally everything. Especially LB.

The 1st thing Florida needs is a S&C program. We have some players and talent, but they are weak, undisciplined pussies because the last staff pampered them and the strength program was a fricking joke.

The recruiting portion will be fine iyam.

Another name to watch is 5-star QB Emory Jones, who is committed to Ohio State and could be the next phone call for Mullen.

“He hasn’t hit me up yet, but I expect that he will,” Jones told SEC Country.

Mullen was the first SEC coach to offer Jones a scholarship back in the spring of his sophomore year. He visited MSU twice during the early stages of his recruitment, but committed to the Buckeyes in July of 2016.

I literally, for the life of me, explain why we ever thought we could flip Fields. Makes zero sense, he hasn't shown interest in any other programs after committing.

Would like to land Emory, however. He's been taking visits since he committed and wants to come on campus.

Emory would be a good haul for you guys. Still a bit of a project, but talented kid. Thought I'd heard that he was thinking about flipping to Miami though... lots of rumors about Alabama as well... haven't followed him much of late though.

Just lost a 3 star Ath, said UF was his dream school. Wonder if he was told to look elsewhere?

No, we shouldn't have.

If he chooses a school that can't bowl for two years, knowing that they can never do anything significant -- it's because we thumbed our nose at him, not because he was a flight risk.

If he picks someone else, it's because we pursued other targets. He was solid the whole time until we started to play around with other names.

anyone know if zaire is getting a 6th year?

fits like a glove in mullen's offense. can't think of many true freshmen who could do better given the offense we run now.

Wasnt he visiting friggan Bama earlier?
Now Ole Miss. If we didnt look around and he jumped ship, we’d be left holding our dks in our hand.
And the whole “he’s holding this class together” thing is BS
2 of the top wrs have decommitted

He posted the Gator vs. UAB game while at Alabama on his visit.

Now Ole Miss, yes, and I said he'd probably waiver if we kept looking at other QBs, especially Fields which is his friend.

And the whole keeping this class together is not bullshite, look at all the guys who retweet him, and look how many guys he was talking with when they committed.

Those two receivers never would haev committed in the first place if he didn't convince them. They were both visibly talking with him, and he's constantly trying to get Copeland to come back.

We lose Corral, we 100% lose Copeland.

I'm not sure in regards to Zaire, but I believe if he wants to be in the NFL he will apply and get his sixth year.

You're free to think this but I've been watching Twitter for a while, I watched the public conversations that they've had between each other.

The staff tried, but they should have seen the writing on the wall. No reason to even try for Fields, he was solid Georgia the entire time -- and he talks to Matt Corral, a double whammy of ''no''.

Mullen can do whatever he wants with quarterbacks, good or bad, he should never risk a relationship with a top ten quarterback for another top ten quarterback.

Thats my point, Fields is solid to UGA. A team who currently already has 2 top QB prospects on their roster. He knows to play he’s gotta beat em out. If Matt gets all buthurt over us trying to build competition and depth then thats his problem.
Plus, if a commit comes here just because his homie did. He’s not a Gator, and idc if he leaves.

We can agree to disagree on this but i dont think a team should handcuff over a kids feelings. Kids flip all the time on NSD, i 100% understand Dan not putting all his eggs in one basket.
