I'm critical when it's warranted. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that way because I have to spend a lot of posts defending Mac from the ridiculous comments made by a singular troll on this board.

And none of those guys are pipe dreams. Levi Jones probably isn't coming here, the Gaddy Twins probably aren't going to be takes. And the only other ones that may be a reach is Jarez parks and Labryan Ray. But Devonte Wyatt is pretty much flipping to UF according to 247. And the rest of those guys have long been considered Gator leans. Henry Ruggs just set up and OV to UF. Devon Hunter is on his ov this weekend and commits next week.

Those mentioned by ATL are guys with mid-high interest still in play. Several are UF leans at this point. Will be a mixture of prospects mentioned in that post.

You can have Wyatt or Slaton, but UGA is getting the other one. Wyatt is severely underrated in my opinion.

Slaton will be a Gator. He's got three other teammates coming from his high school to UF.
With Florida's need at DT, I wouldn't be surprised if they got both

DB Devon Hunter is having a good time. This is one I think could come UFs way with Torrian Gray having a great relationship with him.

Hunter tweeted "I LOVE Gainesville" and has posted tons of pictures. I'd love for us to get a verbal from J Rob this weekend and get Devon Hunter on board when he announces January 20th.

Just for reference, if Hunter and Robinson both committed to us in the next week, our class would jump from 19th to 11th on 247. That would be an enormous jump

UF lean Chris Henderson is visiting Bama this weekend. He's the only one there.
I think Bama will make room for Parks and Ray if both want in.
DE is not really a need. If the Gaddys, Slaton, Wyatt and possibly Truesdell want in I'd take them all. RS a few and if Slaton isn't that good at DT move him back to the OL. I'd encourage some players like Andrew Mike to transfer.

I agree with all of this.
I'm not sure that Truesdell is a take at this point. I think it says a lot that we keep offering new defensive tackles instead of taking his commitment. The vibe I get from that is that the staff isn't settling and doesn't see the potential in him that they have seen in certain 3 star players in the past. If we can bring in Campbell, Wyatt, and Slaton that is a hell of a DT group. I think we would be okay with those three, but would take the Gaddy's if they could qualify as well. I like the 6'5 340 lb Gaddy. That's the kind of sheer size that we don't have on the DL until TJ Slaton gets there. Can you imagine a 4-3 defense with our two interior DL being 6'5 360 lb Tedarrell Slaton and 6'5 340 Gaddy? With 6'4 260 Zach Carter and 6'3 255 Jarez Parks rushing the passer? That is a hell of a defensive line, in theory.
Also gotta think about numbers though. I'm sure we'd oversign if it was quality players, but I dont see us oversigning by 5 players. We have 11 spots left. 4 for DL, 1 for WR, 1 for RB, 3 for DB, 2 for OL. This is where it gets a little tricky. But it's a good problem to have. If we get Devon Hunter, does the staff still take Brad Stewart? I say yes, but I'm not on the staff. If they take Hunter, Stewart, and Henderson, do they oversign and still take Brian Edwards?
