I believe and expect UF to go 11-1 next season.
Period.
If UF loses more than 2 games, I will be VERY disappointed in this staff.
This is one of the most favorable schedules for UF in years.

I too believe we will be 11-1 when the smoke clears...I too will be disappointed if we dont...but NOT very disappointed if we finish 10-2...less than that...yes, very unless there are circumstances that caused it beyond the coaches.

Are you smoking crack? The favorable schedule was this year and we lost 4 games.Next year we possibly start a new QB return an average oline and poor run game and have a significant drop off in talent and depth with a brutal schedule. How do you guys come to this 11-1 conclusion when we're playing
Michigan in Dallas
LSU
UT
TAMU
FSU
Those teams will have either more talent or coaching or both than this staff 7-5 or 6-6 is my prediction and Mac is shown the door before we play FSU.

Current UF pre law student and just as passionate about the Gators. I just want to see us be successful and see my team get a national title before I leave. I hope Mac's the guy to lead us there.
Rahyme Johnson 4 star LB from cali is committing January 6th

I'm thinking that ship has sailed. Was originally visiting for LSU game, that was pushed back. Then was coming to SCe game but he had a HS game come up.

Still plenty of time left before NSD and we will get some good ones imo. As been said before we need to fill up our needs and future needs.
QB we are good imo unless we get a stellar elite guy
RB ditto
TE numbers wise we are good...but TEs play a lot on special teams...so another one wouldnt surprise me..but walk on TE type size should also help us on STs
WRs we are pretty good and just need one more elite playmaker.
OL...as of right now we are ok, but our OL will now be mostly true juniors in 2017 and we need one or two more for future. Its hard to sign elite OL when you consider last year we had so many underclassmen...now we are going to be needing depth and quality. I think next year when we have a base senior group we should have OL recruits very interested in UF. All the kids want to play immediately.
DL is a need now and although I dont predict dire straits like some for our defense and DL...we do need quality and depth. Gotta have rotation to keep legs fresh and frosh who learn the basic playbook can contribute some snaps.
LB I really like the future here, if Moon is anything like his physical build is...look out. He could grow into a pass rusher on the line. Joseph, Reese, Johnson have shown they can play and with Anzalone likely back...we good and just need a few for depth and special teams.
Secondary like LBers, I like this group and dont think we will have a big drop off at all. Gardner is going to be an All SEC performer before long. We are signing a large group for the future...both at CB & Safety...UF is attracting elite type athletes because of the success we have had sending players to the pros from our secondary.
Special teams will need kicker soon, but not a position that you normally use a scholly for unless they're like Fast Eddie. Townsends brother hopefully has the same leg strength as him.

I think we try to add one more quarterback, but don't reach for a guy that doesn't have the talent to play at UF. Sitkowski is our next elite QB and we'all have him for the 2018 class.
We'll add Adarius Lemons to this running back class if he can get in, then we'll be done at RB.
Wide receiver is set with Daquon Green, Kadarius Toney, and whoever commits first between Henry Ruggs and James Robinson. Robinson is more likely and close to a lock to end up in the class now, but I don't see how the staff wouldn't take a commitment from Ruggs if he wanted in the class.
Tight end class is done and it's solid.
OL is good numbers wise, but it's apparent that the staff is pushing for 2-3 more guys to come in. This is interesting and leads me to infer a couple of things, one is David sharpe could be going pro and they want to account for that, or they are planning to move a couple of offensive linemen to defensive tackle and even though it appears we have 18 OL on the roster for next year, that number is really more like 15-16. We have a ton of talented options that I think we have a good chance with. TJ Moore, Kai Leon Herbert, and Caleb Chandler all come to mind and are rated four stars on 247. I think we will had a couple of more OL to this class and it will be a sneaky good OL haul for us.
We are pretty much set at DE. We have highly rated Zach carter committed, and I think we're fine with just him in the class, but we're pushing for one more talented pass rusher in Labryan Ray from Alabama. We get his last OV so there is a chance we get him, but it'll be hard to take him out of Alabama from Nick Saban.
At DT, we need bodies. We do have a lot of options at defensive tackle though and the biggest target is Five star DT Aubrey Solomon. His last official is going to Florida and we need him on campus. Other options include likely future commit Tyrone Truesdell, the Gaddy twins are said to be options still if their grades get better because they have high interest in Florida. Alex Jefferson is officially visiting UF in January, and 4 star UGA DT commit Devonte Wyatt has interest in UF. Florida will probably add two more defensive tackles to go with our current 4 star commit Kyree Campbell.
We want to add one more linebacker to go with Ventrell Miller and James Houston. Rahyme Johnson commits soon but he never visited Gainesville. Maybe he will visit if he doesn't shut down his recruitment after he commits. Who knows, but we'll see. Levi Jones is a four star from Texas but he's likely A&M bound. This class is light on talent at linebacker this year, and I hope that UF doesn't reach for a guy that shouldn't see the field at UF and waste a scholarship on him. Florida offered Nick Smith, a 6'3 210 lb 3 star NC State commit from Orlando. He's probably the back up plan if/when we miss on the out of state linebackers.
The defensive back board is ridiculously deep. We currently have committed Shawn Davis (EE), Marco Wilson, and Elijah Blades. We will more than likely add 4 stars Christopher Henderson and Brad Stewart. On top of that, 3 star former Miami commit Brian Edwards is OVing to florida and is ours if he is a take. He's got great size at CB 6'3 195. He's not like any defensive back on our roster. 247 reported yesterday that Virginia Tech has fallen out of the running for big time safety Devon Hunter and it's turned into a Florida and Auburn battle. He will OV to both schools in January and both feel confident in their chances of landing him. 4 star safety Tray Bishop is down to UGA and UF. He visits the dogs on Jan 13, auburn the 20th and UF gets his final OV on the 27th. Need to knock the visit out of the park, but we have a chance at landing him.
For the too long crowd, I think we add 10-12 more guys, and 8 or 9 of them will be four stars or better and it will fill our biggest positions of need with high quality players outside of LB. That would be a very solid class and likely finish between 8-12 in the country. We have a ton of guys visiting in January and need to be ready to knock those visits out of the water and drop a few bags to lock up the elite talent and get them on campus.

AUs Damyuene (sp) Craig is an awesome recruiter...but he is ex AU player and it would be hard as hell to get him away.
He relates well with recruits.

Does anybody have insider access for Rivals? There's "intel" on Aubrey Solomon on their message board.
Also about a name to watch for DC if you would like to share what that says too

Which board is Rivals? Im on two paid boards now...247 and of course GC.....I just recently went back to GC after several years hiatus from all the crap on the board. 247 has the best recruiting it seems to me. Luke Stampini is ok.
I also am on Gator Sports, but traffic is slow there..Dooley doesnt do much for me.

It's alligator alley I believe. I've never paid for recruiting services. I downloaded the 247 app and you can read VIP articles on there without a VIP account.

Elijah Blades has removed all UF stuff off his Twitter. Decommitting soon? That would suck.

It would suck but the DB board is extremely deep. He hasn't decommitted yet so I'll hold out hope for him. He is an elite athlete and I'm sure the staff will do everything they can to keep him on board.

Sucks if he does go.
