People very close to Byron from the roots of Team Tampa. There's one guy in that area that knows all, and he basically runs that area. Also, UFs in-home on Friday was probably the breaking point. The coaches went in and laid out a plan for Byron and his mother, gained her "trust" which was the key.

I like him. Coaches are waiting for St. Louis, a UM commit, and if he sticks they will move for this kid.

That is a wildcard because I know she "loved" her visit to Auburn and is very comfortable with the AU staff.
I just have a hard time believing that it is anything more than a tossup only because I don't see Cowart "screwing" Muschamp by not letting him know/telling him last minute. Cowart treats Muschamp like a father figure
Not saying ya'll don't get him but I just don't see that storyline of UF sealed the deal matching up with Auburn still feeling very confident as well.

His mom does love WM. Not denying that at all.
Cowart has some family stuff that not many people know about. It's a different dynamic. I know he came out of the AU visit stating distance wasn't a factor and his mom echoed the sentiment in interviews, but that's simply not true. WM can't promise mom he will be there for Cowarts entire stay. WM is the only reason AU is even in it with Byron. All along it has really been about building trust and gaining relationships with the UF staff because it's close to Byrons mom, and she needs his support.

That's fair.
I just don't see the leaving WM out to dry and not telling him so I don't see how this extreme confidence can be had. Especially since you suggest some smoke and not a single AU affiliated reporter is seeing it (or national).
I still think it is a tossup/perhaps not final but don't see a decision made for sure

I don't really get involved with the reporter stuff. Those guys are paid to pander to a fan base. If I did follow reporters and what they thought, I would look at their relationships with local people. National guys don't always have that.
You keep bringing up Cowart throwing WM under the bus. It's his job to recruit these kids, in the end, if the kid doesn't do what he expects or wants its part of the game. I get that Cowart is close with WM, but I guarantee you he cares a lot more about his mom than Champ. He will inform WM of his decision, just like he will the other staffs. Coaches will have backup plans on ice and it won't be a huge deal either way.
