That is a cool picture of the sun. I'm looking at almost the same picture sitting on my balcony at the beach .

I get pissed because most of you morons don't have a freaking clue what you're talking about. I never said this team was going to win 10 games. We over achieved like a muthafricker last year and any of you should have known that. We are 2 years removed from 3-9 and Muschamp really has only had 2 classes that were his. He has had to take chances on players that georgia and molest tech didn't want even in these 2 classes. The coaching staff is just now building relationships that will hopefully pay off down the road. They are having to overcome the 3-9 season plus boom getting fired at florida amongst other issues that are being used to negative recruit.
Is this team good? No they are not but if you honestly expected us to compete for the sec you are getting what you deserve for not having a freaking clue.
I bet half of you never even played sports and some of you think that because your diploma shows you went to Carolina that it makes you an expert on our team when in fact it makes you an expert on absolutely nothing.
I've even read a long time poster threatening to jump out his high rise window. This shows you the type of poster that doesn't have a clue and should probably go join a damn book club. Damn some of you piss me the frick off!

I think top level talent takes a lot quicker now days than it used to.
Kids are coming in much better than they used to.
I think the whole experience card is only for teams like say Kentucky or Vandy.
I believe Bama was one of the youngest teams in the league last year.Georgia this year.
Clemson very young too.
(I don't know much about OSU or OU to be honest, but I do know this is Kyler Murray's first "real" experience)

I know everyone says stars don't matter but they kinda do. You're attempting to compare us with 2 teams that had top 2 recruiting classes for their youth and a former 5 star qb. Apples and oranges.

the only people that say stars don't matter are the people of teams that don't get high ranked classes.
Look at the last 10 national title teams. All have averaged atleast a top 10 class.
Top ten classes had 5 star talent.
If we want to compete with the big boys we need that, and that's what I thought WM was brought in to do.
ETA: and before I hear, but the 11 win seasons!!
Look at those defenses. Littered with top star talent and NFL players.
Clowney, Quarles, Holloman, Hampton, Gilmore, etc all top recruited players probably more but can think of any more at the minute.

but thats what I'm saying.
Elite Talent (to that level of what they have) is far superior than experience.
Georgia has a young Secondary but they are highly touted. I'll take that over (and they most likely will win convincingly) Kentuckys experience of their players.

I 100% agree with you.
It's pretty impressive the nfl caliber talent we had on our team at one time.

we got extremely lucky that most of those players were in state.
Even someone pointed out Ingram (out of state guy) but he was a 4 star player as well.
to sustain teams you need to build recruiting classes with elite talent.
This whole "coach em up" part is nice, but you also need really good guys to come in and coach them up too

It takes a damn good salesman to sell a shitty product and thats what Muschamp has been doing. Most of the starters we have now would be backups down the road IF his staff continues recruiting well. When you're given a car without a engine and told you can only buy a certain amount of parts per year its going to take time before you're driving.

I got an idea. Stop caring about everything else and put all our eggs into football.
Clemson, UGA and Bama do it.

I use the Palmetto series victorys against tiggers. Scary thing is it works around 86.7% of the time.

I seriously laugh at the "WE BEAT Y'ALLS ASSES IN THE FOOD DRIVE CATEGORY, TOO, MOTHERfrickERS!" crowd.

So you're ok with us proclaiming victory in the blood drive competition?
Posted on 10/2/18 at 10:13 am to SOSFAN
Oh hell I didn't realize there was a blood drive competition as well.
