No, it's not. I think a lot of us feel this way.
I have seen him play once on TV and twice in person so far and, for some reason .... I dunno. Maybe it's just his body language. Maybe it's how he doesn't seem to interact well with his teammates or show a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Maybe he seems like a low energy guy to me .... like he doesn't push himself but instead plays down to his competition.
If we get him, fine, okay, I guess you gotta take him. But if we don't there should be no regret. Our coaches have worked him hard and shown him a ton of love. There are more Gamecock fans at his games cheering for him than you can shake a stick at. Far more than Clemson fans ... it's not even close.
If he goes somewhere else, God Bless'im, best wishes.

I still think at least half of his decision hinges on the outcome of the UTK game in addition to Bama offering. He's supposed to be OV'ing for that game, right?

Even more infuriating is that Clemson DID get popped for violating the same rule with Jordan Burch but by a far worse margin than ours and they still have the staff member responsible on staff. However, they only got a few months whereas we got a year. Not even certain they were fined monetarily.
Sick of shite like this and the officiating bullshite happening. Even more sick of the deafening silence from Ray Tanner. We need an AD that would have made it very clear, and very loudly, that this shite is not okay.

We need to go full nuclear on the BS that's happening up there. At this point, I don't even care if it's Mutually Assured Destruction for our own program (like our program is so great right now.) Those orange po's from the upstate need to go down.

Turns out it was Lance Thompson recruiting Demonte Capehart. The NCAA was "tipped off" so we had an internal investigation and self reported.
Demonte Capehart is a clemson commit now. Both Clemson and SC ppl from inside are saying it seems like Clemson was who tipped them off. The tip off happened around the time Belk switched to us. Seems convenient.
Clemson tipping them off isnt 100 percent, but Capehart and Thompson are.
