Okay well .... I must have gotten some bad info somewhere in the preseason. He was listed as a third teamer was last I had heard and had pissed off Venables for lack of effort.

I actually got that from a big Clemson fan up in Liberty the week before the season started.

They rotate dlinemen like musical chairs they are so fricking deep and it's just getting deeper with this class. So a 3 deep guy will be plenty of snaps, however XT is a starter i believe

Yea hes a starter. But Rooster is correct, they had him on the depth chart 3rd, and didnt start him against GT. But it was very obvious that it was a motivational tactic on him cuz XT came in and was CLEARLY the best one on the field.

Hes a freak, just a lazy one. Kinda reminds me of someone...

I get the reason he waa 3rd but like I said a 3rd guy will still get a ton of reps for them.

NC has rallied. Not looking as bad right now.

Youth and inexperience cost UNC that game. Bad clock management in the end doused all hope for them.

On the other hand Wake fielded 17 RSSrs. That's how you win in the ACC by building teams that are loaded with experienced senior leadership each year but the reason they are able to do that is because they have very few leave early for the pros or otherwise transfer for comparative reasons.

We had that OLineman transfer here from there a couple of years ago I think it was, but that's a real rarity for a graduate at Wake or Duke or UNC for that matter, unless there is a coaching change.

I can't tell if today hurt us in recruiting, or helped us. At least part of the game was exciting.

I think it helped. We still need a few more playmakers

It left a lasting impression, god or bad. The guys who saw playing time will keep us high, the guys who want titles immediately will drop us. All I'm know from what I've read and heard we helped ourselves a ton next year and beyond today. Now 2020 class is yet to be seen, cause they haven spoke on it yet, nor have I tried to talk to coaches yet. I don't expect this helped much with Burch, but I was wrong on Jammie all together. I said he was headed to AU, then said I wasn't sold on him. Boy am I glad I missed that one.

My best advice if you are worried about performance game by game then quit following recruiting. Cause none of I makes sense, you have to read each prospect. If any game killed hope for recruits it was UNC not this one.

Our 2020 class is doomed. State of SC is void of talent, Mack has locked down NC and the players we use to get from Georgia are going to go elsewhere. This coaching staff has to go.

Yesterday sucked but it showed we can hang, also qb, we have a stud, playmakers want to play with a stud qb. DB is an issue but there I no depth, expect that to be cleaned up soon as well. Sky isn't falling anymore, it's just some rain.

Great Pickup.

Hoping this is the Hilinski Effect. Good players wanna play with good QBs. Hes a leader.
