GCC still believes we get Murphy also none of our " insiders" have changed their cb to unc but it's very telling that Wiltfong changed his imo.

The canned answer after Wiltfongs cb was that everyone is looking for clarification. If no one changes theirs tomorrow then I'd feel better

You are right theres still a chance but it doesnt look like it. I know for a fact we had him. Recruiting can be a morale kick in the balls sometimes.

I hope we kick UNCs Dicks in by atleast 50. Macks trying to build a wall around NC, and we need to break it down before it gets to far. I hate UNC.

Word out of the uncheat camp is he doesn't have the grades and will be going juco no matter whom he picks.

I dont get this. Hes still got a whole year to bump his grades up right? Usually grades/JUCO shite comes out about players that are just about to head to college (IE. Diwan Black Florida...and Hammond).

He can still pull it up, and hes a big time flip candidate no matter what he picks. So today seems not to matter as much except for perceived momentum.

If you're way behind and have been getting " socially promoted" then 1 year isn't going to change that landscape.

Again thats out of the tarhole camp not ours so possibly an excuse if they don't get him.

Edit: A new mod on CT is now claiming that he doesn't have the grades. This "mod" acts like he knows everything and is part of vizor sports site. Me thinks he is fos.

It would appear he’s going to announce for UNC. Not written in stone but I still have two good contacts up in NC, one of which was on their Board of Regents for years and he’s always been dialed in. He’s pretty giddy this morning. He started early with a victory text.

I have not heard the grades thing, the JuCo thing, for Murphy but it wouldn’t surprise me although I’m not wishing it on the kid even if he commits to UNC. Still, it wouldn’t surprise me. But it will not be over until signing day either way.

Here’s the thing. It’s not over for any of these out of state players, especially from NC. Just like Florida (Walker) there is a certain pull for some kids to stay home. We really need to keep our main instate targets home. We’ll take all the highly rated leftovers we can get outta Georgia. I’m not too worried about losing Lloyd. I mean it could happen but Lloyd seems solidly committed and will stay that way unless we just fall apart this season. Tank Bigsby is anybody’s guess. If Georgia doesn’t get Evans then Bigsby May end up there .... but Lloyd will be high on UGA’s backup list as well. That’s just life.

Jordan Burch is the biggie of course and we’re not going to know for a long time on him. Hell, he might wait until February ... probably will IMHO.

We just need to trust our coaches because things are gonna get hairy and this class is going to definitely go down to the wire.

We need to stomp a mud hole in UNC for starters.

I think we learn about him alot sooner than you think. But we will see.

And UGA is getting Milton, so im not worried about lloyd.

Also, SOS, yes apparently tank and lloyd became real good friends which is nothing but a good thing for us.

Georgia is taking 2 RBs. It appears Milton will be one. Think they will still go hard after Lloyd for the second spot.

Rumor is the UGA staff told Tank he would be a take if he ran in the 4.5 range. I think they’ll go after him hard now. Especially if we miss on Evans.

Saw a report after the opening. Lloyd, tank and Milton listed as top 3 backs there. Doing something right

I hate to say it, but as long as we keep Lloyd, Idc if yall take Tank. I want him and all, but Lloyd is a monster and I can't quite put in to words how good I think he is going to be at the college level.

Honestly I hope yall get Evans and Milton but yall are trending mostly for Milton. Hes all but actually committed. Yall having good back isn't something new, so getting two better backs is fine long as we get ours too.

I doubt we get Evans but you have to shoot for the stars.

Does Lloyd have a history of injury? Or am I getting him confused with another back?

Unfortunately, this proved to be correct. Still think he could be flipped. The grades issue was apparently started on a NC St site. I doubt we would have gone down that road without being pretty sure he would qualify.

At this point, there guys think they got him, and our guys think we are good. Its possible that tank still doesnt know himself.

Lloyd and him became real good friends and Lloyd is actively recruiting him.

But I feel like common sense has to hit at one point...He sited early play time as his main focus, but deciding against UGA and Scar...here are the RB rooms for each.

UGA 2020 -
5* Zamir (Zues) White
5* James Cook
5* Milton (all but a done deal)
4* Kenny Mac
5* Swift (if not NFL - see Michel and Chubb)

SC 2020 -
3* Valentine
3* Fenwick
3* Harris
5* Lloyd

...We will see, but one of these options is alot easier to crack a spot in the starting lineup, or even to just see any playing time at all.

I hope Tank also sees that even as a Georgia State boy, that uga always looked at him as a fall back plan...and not even the first fall back plan.
