This guy is so all over the place I have a feeling he ends up in the transfer portal no matter where he finally chooses to go.

I think he has gotten a bad rep for no other reason than not committing to a school yet. I would rather a guy take his time so maybe he won't end up transferring. The fact several schools (Auburn and South Carolina) feel pretty good about him tells me that he is keeping his choice pretty close to the vest and it is a tight battle. Hope we get him locked up. If he had visited this weekend, I would have felt better about us. Now, I just don't know.

The transfer portal is going to be the death of cfb.

I guess that is one way to look at it. He could also be the type that falls in love with whoever he is talking to at the moment. Gamecocks one day then au the next.

I will say that since Muschamp has taken over the inside leaks have pretty much dried up.
With that being said these are the 3 guys Chris Clark thinks we sign :

Jammie Robinson
Jaquaze Sorrells
William Rogers

Wouldn't be so sure. Insider on 247 sports said he would change his CB to SC if Robinson visited this weekend. He just changed it.

I thought the exact same thing but seeing T-Rob and Muschamp both visiting him there has to be something there unless it's a desperation move.

I was suprised that CC still thinks ,as of this morning, that we get Robinson.

Edit: So both Chris Clark and JC think he is coming here.

He has already switched his CB from SC to Auburn back to SC. I think Robinson might be in town and trying to keep it quiet. Good luck with "don't read too much into it".

It is very telling that not 1 but 2 supposedly insiders are saying we get him.

It hasn't been reported but Jammie Robinson supposedly came. I have no idea what the top secret is about him coming but for some reason they don't want it known.

The fact that it was ask several times and none of the insiders answered one way or another, tells me he probably was here. If he requested that it be kept quiet, I'm sure they would not risk losing their sources by spilling the beans.

Possibly the same reason as Shilo perhaps? Just taking a total guess here but Shilo was in town a week (iirc) before he announced and it was kept under tight, tight wraps. He had already silently committed and snuck back in town so Rob Gregory could film his commitment video is what I've been told.

Maybe the same with Jammie?

Never thought of that CG but that would make sense.

I would assume that Watts is no longer a take if we got Robinson.

Spurs Up!

South Carolina added to its 2019 class on Tuesday with the addition of Hampton (Georgia) Lovejoy offensive lineman William Rogers.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder made an official visit to Columbia over the weekend that helped offensive line coach Eric Wolford nab his commitment. The Peach State product will sign with the Gamecocks on February 6.

Wolfie doing work. Kid played OT in hs but will probably be an OG in college.

I see us closing with Sorrells and Robinson.
