Harris is the first RB we've had since MD28 that actually puts the first lick on a defender trying to tackle him. it's nice to see a Gamecock RB do that again.

I think Harris has better vision .
Mike has obviously carved himself a pro career and hopefully will continue to, but he seemed to struggle here with hitting the hole consistently

I was actually at that game. Middle, too I think.
It was so easy to get to games when I lived in Charleston. Now somehow, some way my oldest is a freshman at Middle Tennessee.

I know there was a time when all garnet was “big game garnet” and we played well with the garnet pants and garnet jerseys (this when we only had the white helmet)
But I always hated Garnet Jersey and Garnet pants

5* IMG recruit Kamari Wilson was at the game yesterday. He's the #1 safety in the '22 class and he's high on the Gamecocks.

Not old enough to remember the 1984 "Black Magic" team and the "Fire Ant Defense". All Garnet was their go to home unis.

So I called the Parental units yesterday to check in. Dad was happy about the game, but bummed about the braves.
We started talking about Jake Bentley and how the NCAA isn't counting this year against a players eligibility. This was news to him as he doesn't follow such things that closely. I said, "Yeah, didn't you see where Dabo was crying about it in the news last week?"
"I don't pay any attention to what Dabo says. You can't he doesn't every shut up."
"Dad, have you seen Shrek?"
"Yeah, a long time ago."
"Dabo's like the donkey in Shrek. It's not that he talks, It's getting him to shut up that's the trick."
Then dad, who's normally as straight laced as they come, dropped the mike with this one liner, "Well, I'd call him something other than a donkey..."
