I've probably said it before on here, but that injury is one of the worst in the sense of the frustration with recovery. Too often guys feel ok doing light jogging or workouts and they think they're back up to 100% or close to it, and then they get more intense and re-injure it. Which causes them to be out even longer. There's really not an exact science to coming back from a hamstring....well maybe there is but it would take a shite ton of MRI's and cost $100K's of dollars.

Rico missing the next 2-3 weeks changes things even more though. I was thinking he might be the starter by game 4or5. Now it might take even longer.

Luckily we are deep at LB but it's never good losing out on leadership and experience on the field. I really hope he comes back only after having healed that thing to the fullest extent.

Rico had a sports hernia that became worse. He was going to have it surgically repaired in Asheville, but there was an issue with his insurance. He waited and had the surgery once he arrived on campus, so he should be good to go soon.
